O.S. outplayed Kingston till the last two minutes and practically handed the game to them. I heard that the kid who had the touchdown for Kingston was out of bounds further up the field and the ref chose not to call it. Any player from OS care to verify that? I also heard that at least one of the refs was from Kingston if that tells you anything. I agree with you orangeandblack that OS outplayed Kingston. Thank you for saying that bc the players were heartbroken over the loss.

I think Harriman has a lot of talented players but they are so discouraged that they don't expect to win anymore. I think next year is going to be the start of a welcome uphill trend, so the Blue Devils just need to hang in there. The good news is that everyone all over the county will be happy when the team starts winning again...nobody wants any team to go thru this. I live in Harriman and I've watched a little of the practices. I saw an OS practice for the first time today. Totally different! OS did lots of drills that I don't think Harriman does, plus a lot of hitting (they use little cushions to protect themselves). I think Harriman's practices may be a little light, but then, I'm no expert! Don't give up, it will get better.

I guess I missed your 1 million posts about Smith County, but you missed my point. I just think it would be nice if Kingston were more humble about wins over smaller schools.

It will be a close game, which I hope OS wins. The reason I hope OS wins is because Kingston gets way too cocky about beating teams who are much smaller than they are. I like the way OS has the guts to play teams like Smith County and other AAA teams.
