we are talking about this summer, not 3 years ago. hughes dad was telling me about your son and a couple of other Creekers playin on the City Market team...

When I watched them play there were not anyone from unaka on the team.?

 

But I only watched two games.

hunter and jeff are about 3 or 4 years older than ward and hughes. the city market team was only for 15 and 16 year olds. there were 10-15 players that varied on their roster all summer, but NONE of them were from the Creek. the only player from the Creek in their age group that was even talked about to play with them was devin aldridge but he never did...

Bentley also played and he is the same age as Hunter and Jeff. I sat there and watched them play several games so I know they played together.

i dont remember anybody from the Creek on the city market team. are you sure your not mistaken?

I agree the offense has to get it goin , but in all fairness Unaka had a good game plan to stop the run and our QB played his best game of the season and bailed us out. Our "D" was still super tough and regardless of what the score or sportiemom says we dominated this game from the get go. We should have still had 40 lots of penalties and a HUGE fumble inside their 10 or this one was never close. Again Unaka is far better now than they were earlier so your Landers better be ready for a fight when you get to them Unaka will be WAY better next year.

To set the record straight I was not saying anything about how you played I was just stateing that you all got on here thinking that Unaka was a pansy team and that you all were going to blow them away. Nothing was said about how good you were or if you were better. I agree this is a wake up for your team. You also have to take into concideration that if Unaka didn't fumble the ball 5 times and without that saftey it would have been a different ball game. The coach from Duke who also coached our olympic team ,not going to try to spell his name is one of the worst out there, He's done pretty good. There are some very good people that cusses. I'd say at least 80 percent of Highschool football players does some of it. Most of them does things thats a little worse.

That is because Onieda is a semi private school almost in the same catagory as Grace but you can't decide what side of the tracks your on. Private and semi ~ private same thing to me

I don't beleive that you need to use that language or lose you cool that you slip to use that language. The coach from Appy State won 4 championships and then there is the Colts coach that I am almost positive does not indulge in that kind of language while coaching. You don't have to do it to be winners. I think it is done if you don't have the dicipline yourself not to do it. How can you expect your players to have control and you don't?

Congrats HV enjoy this win, because next week its going to be a blood bath. Johnson County will throw all over you. They feel great after each game win or lose because they know they didn't have to cheat to play a game. And you are 3 - 0 because #1 - you haven't played anyone and #2 - You can recruit and intice people to come to your school. We have the good ole boys that have went to school here all there life and they are proud of it. Again ~ last year you had only 4 jrs and this year you have 9 or more srs. Has any other team in this division done that?? NO

It sure is funny that last year when Unaka played Grace they had 4 Juniors and this year they have 9 seniors. Wow, where did the other 5 come from? HMMMM......... Also who has to sit out for these all stars? Their parents must not contribute as much. No matter what the argument is Privates and public need to be separate.
