The misinformation on this topic is hysterical. My favorite is the revisionist history and theories. Keep them coming. I needed the laughs.

I want so much to say Oakland in a cake walk but I CAN’T! This Beech team is the epitome of a Crabtree coached TEAM. As a very biased outsider, it pains me to say Beech will find a way to be in the game late and then they will be in position to have the last possession for the win.
I really hope I’m wrong, I just don’t see it playing out any other way.Make no mistake about this one. It’s David vs Goliath and David had the experience and confidence to get the job done. Goliath was unbeaten and the biggest, baddest dude on the block. Oakland has by far the best overall talent and Beech has a few who are outstanding. Get your popcorn ready for Saturday night. This one should be a classic.

He was hard to deal with as is…. Possible state champs on the line… maybe another deal where I leave CoachT again???
I’ve been here way too long to up and leave now. I could get out of prison with good behavior after these 20+ years.

It must be said, I wasn’t a believer at first, Beech looks like they might even have a chance to win it all.
I’m afraid you are correct. Eers won’t be worth living with now.

Good Luck to all teams playing tonight. Chase the opportunity to have a Thanksgiving Practice. Don’t take those for granted.

Region 4-6A. Gallatin, Cookeville, Warren County, Wilson Central, Lebanon, Green Hill and Mt. Juliet.
Warren County’s appeal to leave the RuCo region was approved.

Watching beech play twice this year, they are no where as physical as CPA, and Cane Ridge pulled that one out. CR is by no means undersized has the athletes on both sides of the ball. I see them taking this one 42-31.
Having watched both teams, I think you are on to something. CR is going to surprise some of the Beech people. To quote a player from this season…. They hit harder than any team we played. Hoping this is the TV game this week.

Watch out for Germantown Bartlett winner!
This is one I’ve been keeping an eye on all season. I won’t be surprised to see either in Chattanooga.

I would expect this game to be the closest of all the quarterfinals. CR impressed me with their defense speed. It’s was like they had 15 guys over there.
Beech will play a ball control, time management game and try to be in possession for the final drive/score.If its close, I’ll take Beech.
If it’s high scoring, I’ll take CR.

Going to the Quarterfinals we find 6 of the 8 1 seeds remaining. Blackman (2) and Germantown (4).
Big matchups.
Quad 1-Science Hill at Maryville
Quad 2-Blackman at Oakland
Quad 3-Beech at Cane Ridge
Quad 4-Germantown at Bartlett
Those are some quality teams that all have a chance this week.

This is an interesting subject. A few years ago Beech was moved to 4A while Hendersonville and Gallatin were 5A. Beech wouldn’t play Gallatin in an effort to build a winning culture. They developed that culture and came back to the same classification as H and G. They also went through a coaching change in the process. Crabtree has been a huge difference maker in Beech’s success. I remember fans wanting him to be gone after his 2nd season. Took some lumps and got his team better.
As far as gate goes, I have to say that most teams haven’t held up their end of the bargain when coming to Gallatin. SC brings a good crowd and most years Hendersonville does. I honestly can’t recall Beech bringing a huge crowd when the game is at Gallatin.
Myself, not knowing which region we will be placed in next cycle, I can’t say who will and won’t be scheduled based solely on how many non-region games Gallatin has to fill.
To me and my age, Gallatin’s big rivals have been Hendersonville, Mt.Juliet and recently SC. I hope to always see those 3 on the schedule. Of course having Beech on the schedule is a very short drive and generates a huge gate at Beech but like I said earlier not so much in the return.
I guess until I see the region and schedule that this will be a good discussion in the off-season.Who knows, maybe Gallatin puts all the upper Sumner Teams…Portland, SC, B, H and newbie LC to fill 5 games.
What do you want out of your regular season? Gate Money, Wins, competition to prepare you for a deep playoff run?
I noticed that Clarksville has used winning games to build confidence which to me, was a huge advantage in last weeks game. It’s all about what you want to define success with.
I’m not pretending that other areas and counties aren’t dealing with the same problem. I can only speak on the teams in Sumner County. -

Here's how I think the 5 middle regions could be put together. Splitting Coffee Co and Warren Co, plus all the Nashville schools, gets as many 6 team regions as you can get with 29 teams:
3
Coffee Co
Cookeville
Green Hill
Lebanon
Mt Juliet
Wilson Central
4
Blackman
Oakland
Riverdale
Rockvale
Siegel
Warren Co
5
Clarksville
Gallatin
McGavock
Northeast
Rossview
West Creek
6
Antioch
Cane Ridge
Lavergne
Smyrna
Stewarts Creek
7
Brentwood
Franklin
Independence
Overton
Ravenwood
Summit
I would probably switch Coffee County and Warren County but otherwise I think it’s a pretty good set.

Does it really matter what we think? You are just going to tell us how bad our team, coaches, school, pizza, weather, trees, air and ears are. Hopefully y’all will leave us with some grass on the field and goal posts in the air but I doubt it.

Week 4 of the season has both teams entering with a record of 2-1. I’ve heard from several in the community that SC is considered the favorite by at least two TD’s. I hope that’s not the case. Both coming in off of game outcomes that were unexpected.

Yep I agree completely. Really thought there would be a synopsis of each team and some deeper insight.
Mine has already found file 13. It’s gone.

thank you for correcting me. What you wrote makes perfect sense
Sorry I didn’t mean to be confusing. I thought everyone knew why we have our games moved to Thursday this year. The shortage of refs.
-
In the first region game of the season for both teams, Gallatin will host West Creek in a ref shortage Thursday game this week.
West Creek comes into The Wave Yard for what I believe is the first time for them. Coming off a win over North West.
Both teams enter with a record of 1-1. The need to find a way for a region win is huge for both teams. -
This week is Page vs Fairview. They haven’t posted the full schedule on Twitter as of now. I’m guessing it will be up tomorrow. Based on when they posted it last season.
-
Got an email yesterday.
-
They posted the schedule on Twitter last year the Monday before the season started. MyTV30_sports in Nashville area. I looked last week.
-
Right there with you.

I saw a picture on Twitter about the stadium and that massive field house. It appears, and I could be wrong, that they will have a field turf field. Does that mean the other county schools will be getting turf fields as well? I think I already know that answer.
-
Gallatin hosts West Creek week 3. Beech hosts Summit week 6. Portland hosts Liberty Creek week 1. Oakland hosts Hendersonville week 1. Mt. Juliet hosts Station Camp week 7. A few games involving some Sumner County teams.

Riverside Vs Tyner for the shiny gold ball.

That’s one of the best title games I’ve ever seen. Congratulations to both teams on a great season.
