  1. I think everyone knows that SP wasn't going to be challenged last week. SP beat Monterey 47-0 and G-Ville beat Monterey 32-0. SP has to travel I guess about an hour and a half to G-Ville. This game is looking more like a toss up, with the winner probably taking one on the chin in Round 3 versus Boyd.

  2. 1AFAN, Does South Pitt have what it takes to get past Boyd in round three. I think G-Ville wasn't up for the game aginst South Pitt last year, (not saying that it would have effected the out come or anything.) The Zoo is a tough place to play, and G-Ville will be remembering the lost last year to SP. Good luck to both teams, and too bad that they will be meeting so early in the playoffs.

  3. So Butter can any team from the West beat TC. If so that is impressive. Which team from the West are you speaking for. Have you seen TC play this year, or do you even know anything about them. TC slaghtered by old HS this year, and I predict they will be bringing back a 3A Gold Ball this year to go along with there 1A Gold Balls. Any team can be beat, and TC may not win it all, but they are one of the top 3A programs in only two years.

  4. This game will be no contest. Since the lottery has been voted in I would bet with the old nightmare, LOL. Lookout Valley had better lookout because they probably haven't been hit as hard as G-Ville will hit them Friday. G-Ville will face South Pitt in round two. This game will be at the Zoo, and one round earlier this year. I look for G-Ville to redeem last years lost to South Pitt, but will probably go down in round three to Boyd.

  5. I have one question about this thread. Where is all of the condfidence coming from on the part of TC. I live close to TC, and understand there winning traditions in 1A, and the impressive season that TC had last year. My opinion of last season is that TC caught Portland sleeping in the playoffs, and then the next week TC played without as much emotion, and it showed. It was almost like TC season was complete after getting redemption on Portland. I don't live in TC or Sumner County but you can bet I will be at the creek bank come week 4.

  6. I don't think Beech will see the Boro this year. Last year the stars and moons aligned up just right, and some of the stronger competition was eliminated in the earlier rounds. Once they did travel down I-24 they quickly realized that the level of competion that had showed up, wasn't what they were use to. I think the other side of the bracket is always stronger.
