I agree with you condra, GREAT game both sides, refs were awful both ways, they let it get a little out of hand and then started calling fouls on everything. Cant wait till the next two meetings.

In the fourth quarter there was a technical called, the ref said on the jasper bench. Was it the coach or assistant or the players and what was it for

Whitwell won by about 10. The refs were horrible both ways. Jasper played hard and made there free throws. Taylor Mac from whitwell had the game of her life with 19 pts. It also helped that Macy played tonight to help with the ball handling. The gym was packed and it was a great atmosphere. Cant wait til the rematch at St. Andrews Christmas tourny.

1st/2nd game. Culleoka beat Franklin County by around 4. Great game

3rd/4th game. Sequatchie beat bledsoe pretty good. Left at halftime and Dunlap up around 20

5th/6th game. Chattanooga patriots beat Hamilton Heights. Couldnt believe that one

7th/8th game. Boyd beat Whitwell easily.

Marion by around 35 or 40, cody should get about 6 dunks. I wont be attending, its hard to watch.

I'm pretty sure thats who Bledsoe plays in the first game......

Well I hear that Monterey didnt loose anyone from last years team and Whitwell didnt looses anyone either. So, last years score was like 11-1, but i dont see Whitwell coming out and hitting 3 homers. So my opinion is Whitwell 5-1.

Lol, i was kind of close. Off by one run on each side. Def wrong about whitwell hitting three homers. Last year it was 2 three run shots and a two run shot. This year it was 2 two run shots and a solo. Congrats Lady Tigers

Whitwell 7 sale creek 2

The game was alright. I think Whitwell got 2 in bottom of fifth then Sale Creek got 2 in top sixth. Whitwell then put it away with 5 runs in bottom of sixth. Sale Creek had a few errors that really hurt them tonight. Game was kind of nasty because of the weather but it turned nice around fourth inning. Congrats to the lady tigers. They will host Monterey at 5 C.S.T on Friday i believe.

back to the topic of this thread...does anyone know if this game between whitwell and sale creek is still being played today and if so what time? I'm making a long two hour trip and I don't want to do that if its rained out!

The game is being played at 4 C.S.T at Whitwell. As of now it is game on. I will post again if it get rained out. Its only sprinkled a bit as of right now.

I believe that Whitwell is going to win 1st for sure!!! and I think CSAS and Sale Creek are going to battle it out. because Sale Creek has the advantage of the winning record but when CSAS puts there mind to it they could beat them hands down. After all CSAS does have a better offensive lineup.

Whitwell looses their pitcher, 1st, 2nd, short, rightfield, and DH. They had two seniors quit that didnt play a lot. Whitwell returns some very good bats next year. Pitching will be the key for them next year. Have to find some consistency in either a senior or a sophomore. I just hope the game vs sale creek does not get rained out tommorrow. Should be a good one.

Whitwell should be back at state this year. Lost 1 reserve player from last years team. I look for them to make a run in the tournament again this year

this means that if CSAS wins their district (which is expected but dont put it past south pittsburg) they will have to play 21st century in the quarterfinals and south pittsburg would play silverdale.

I watched south pitt play the other night and they were running on all cylinders, even though it was against a very weak Lookout Valley team that Whitwell beat by almost 30 tonight. South Pitt just looked like a totally different team the other night. If they play like that consistently it could be very interesting tommorrow night and then in the region. But it looks like the winner of grace temple game will play Lookout Valley and the looser will face Whitwell. Whitwell matches up very well against temple, i just hope they can keep it closer that what people think

I can help you out a little. At the district 6A tournament the number six seed Lookout Valley beat the number three seed Sale Creek by like 4 i think. It was actually a pretty good game. Sale creek was up by about ten in the third and then lookout valled got up 10 in the fourth. i think this was Lookout valleys first win of the year.

Number 4 Whitwell beat number 5 Richard Hardy by three i think. Richard Hardy led most of the game but a stretch of about 4 straight turnovers changed the game to Whitwells favor. Chance had a good game with 23 pts and Kilgore hit a big shot with about a minute left.

Whitwell will play CSAS tomorrow at 330 CST and Lookout Valley will play South Pitt at 630 CST

Quiet? Hardly. Those student sections were mouthin back and forth every opportunity they had. One marion boy was asked to leave.

64-61. dustin chance missed a three at the buzzer to tie. Great game. Both teams played hard and the atmosphere was better than i have seen in a long time. Tough loss for whitwell. Keep your heads up guy. Cody had a great tip dunk and another dunk at the end of the game to put them up two. Jaspers student section had the na na na hey hey goodbye chant going on with a minute left. CSAS will be fine Coach Martin has been helping with the boys team for the last 5 years so I dont think coaching will be an issue

I think it will be between Whitwell and CSAS. Whitwell has four returning starters this year led by the District MVP Shea Thomas. Whitwell got beat by Cannon County by one and beat Huntland by around ten or so. Shea had like 32 against Huntland connecting on 5 threes. My guess is they will split the regular season games and meet again in the district championship game.

Jasper was winning by 10 with a minute left. The game was kind of weird to me. It was obvious Jasper was the better team. Jasper played there starting five together the first and third quarter but it was mostly the subs in the 2nd and 4th. The tall blonde hair kid from Jasper i think his name is Cody was the best player on the quart but really didnt get a lot of touches. Lookout Valley only had seven players since there football team is still playing. Shots just werent falling for Valley tonight. also, does anyone know is the Woods kid is still playing for Valley?

I think that the Lady Patriots of CSAS have a real good chance of getting to the Region Championship Game this year and even winning it! Kayla Kelly and Jamisha Featherstone make a great inside outside combination. What does everyone else think?

I can see CSAS and Whitwell splitting during the regular season then meeting again in the District championship game. CSAS was pretty good last year and Whitwell returns 4 starters. So it should be a really good game.

What does Whitwell have coming back this year. I know that there record last year was not good but I think they were young. How are they looking this year?

They have there top seven players coming back from last years teams. Looked a lot better at camp. Should be starting 5 seniors and a senior as a 6th man. Should be a very productive year for the Tigers
