What does pickett county's football team do besides play a jv schedule??? it was good thought into it though but you got to have something to back it up and you have nothing

Upperman is good and Livingston is down, I saw Dekalb at the Siegel playday and if anyone thinks they're good then they are wrong, they would get destroyed even if they make it to the region. In my opionion Upperman is the best team in this district without a doubt and i'm an 8-aa fan. Good luck to all these teams in this years district but honestly and I think everyone would agree that they have their work cut out for them against 8-AA this year, like last.
livingston may be down in experience but they will turn some heads. o and dekalb will not go undefeated next season livingston is just losing one senior after this year

No, york beat livingston in the 2001 season at york and kept livingston out of playoffs.

rhea county thumped livingston LA is going to have to make some kind of changes before they play trousdale that is for sure

McCoin - Wilson Cates, Tyler Smith, Lance Ruble, Tyler Livingston, Main ones that McCoin had something to do with.
Melton - Brandon Matthews, Tyson Stover, Justin Monday, Chase Dunn, Devin Ramsey, Jeremy McLearran, Todd Smith, Main ones that Melton had MOST to do with.
Look's to me like there is no contest for who "built" this team. Melton has 3 starters that he had most everything to do with and almost all the bench players, besides 2. McCoin had something to do with two players, and 2 coming off the bench. Bottom line is Richard Melton has been putting consistent players in that high school since 2001, the only thing is Danny McCoin could never do anything with them. My opinion, NO, look back at how many times they have made it out of the region tournament, I bet that is a really small number, and there is no guarantee that they will this year, but with as much talent as they have now, they will be TOUGH from now on, for several years anyways. Melton is an AWESOME coach, and has been putting this team together for years in hopes of them getting to the state tournament, now he got them the players, and they still could NOT get it done, so they had to move him in to coach them all, too. He will get it done eventually, and it very well could be this year. Congratulations to Coach Melton, and the LA Wildcats on an extraordinary year. Good Luck in the Regional Tournaments, and prove all those wrong who doubt that you can make it. GO HOG-EYE.
All them players you just named that richard has had something to do with was all in middleschool and he coached middleschool up until last year just because danny mccoin wasnt coaching middle school last year is the only reason he doesnt have just as many i mean seriously i have no problem with neither one of them but you gotta think richard has been in middle school basketball no wonder he has coached more!! Talk about unintelligent that is unintelligent

I am very proud of all you LA boys. you boys played your hearts out friday night and woke this region 2 up and showed them what middle tennessee can do. even though it was a loss you boys proved somethin you all just keep your head up and things will be great you all have the heart of champions i am proud of you boys. GO HOGEYE!

My prediction is the wildcats from HOGEYE will pull the upset and win this game 21-14! If hogeye comes ready to play that is. They will prove once and for all that they are a whole lot tougher football team then you give them credit for. I would like to see this game at the hogeye nation. But lets go to knoxville ready for some football. I would say it is going to be the biggest game in the state this week. I want to see #58 Wade Ford with some spectacular play and help open holes all night for vaughn and jones. Cates will have a good showing this week as well. GO HOGEYE!

Livingston Academy has a defense that is TOUGH. I believe that this LA team is a little stronger then what you region 2 fans from last year was expecting. This LA team has a lot of heart and I think they can go as far as they want to go. Wildcat fan, i agree there is some special teams that needs to be worked out but knowing these boys they will give it their all to get these kinks out early and be prepared for war against region 2. We are going to see some great football from here on out and hard hitting. The Cats are working hard to get better everyday. Keep up the hard work boys and it will pay. Wilson Cates will dominate friday night!!! GO HOGEYE!!!!

What does everyone think about this one? I think LA gets 2 in a row this week with a final score of 33-12. With the trio of Cates, Vaughn, and Jones all rushing for 100 yard. GO HOG-EYE

I just wanted to congratulate LA on making the state tournament for the first time in LA history. I just want to say how proud i am of you boys. I grew up with all of you guys especially you seniors. I can remember when we used to play for the livingston lightning and goodman and goodman. man now look at you boys making a run for a high school state championship. you guys are awesome and make this run as long as you can go. I believe in you boys. Burnett man you are awesome get healthy and get back on that field you deserve to be on the field i am praying for a speedy recovery and hopefully we will see you on that field.

What a pitiful thing i sit in those stands tonight and watcjed the most unsportsman like team in any sport i have ever saw in my life one boy stood right in front of the livingston academy parents and flipped them off i mean play soccer dont flip a group of parents off that are there in watching there kids play soccer none of them want to see you showing your butt and flipping them off Friendship Christian should be embarrassed after that one GO Hogeye keep it up!

I havent seen Upperman play so im not going to make an actual predicition for the game, but i dont see upperman being able to play with SC. SC finished 3rd in one of the toughest districts in the state. I jus dont see Upperman being able to play with the athleticism of SC. I think district 8AA will run the table in the region but i could be suprised.
ye i am afraid you are goin to be surprised mlk will blow jackson out dl will beat smith county upperman will beat SC and LA will beat greenbrier for the split is the way i see it play out GO HOGEYE

i will take upperman in this game and i watched SC in the Jaycees tournament in livingston in dec. they didnt impress me much but i will take upperman by 10+

LA led by 15 and 20 the whole game they should have won by at least 25 without a doubt
