  1. Maybe Mr Wizard you need to have your facts right before you get on here and make accusations that are just not true.  Signs were being stolen by Boyd fans it has happened the last three years and just maybe someone was letting someone know when the signs needed to be changed which was very frequently until the majority of the Boyd fans left the field in about the 5th inning.  I guess it is not cheating to have fans stealing signs.  Ask the dude in the red shirt and the Frost Falcons coach that was in the stands how many times we changed, at least twice an inning through the 5th.  Danielle walked more batters the two Boyd games than see didd in 20 games all season.  It's easy to stay off the rise when you know when it is coming and it is easier to hit the outside pitch when someone is saying "go with it" before it is thrown.  Maybe the TSSAA official responded to complaints that signs were being called in from the other side.

I agree with STD Boyd needs to grow up. It must really be tough to finish runner up 3 years in a row to GOODPASTURE. The Cougars are the better team far 1-9 Boyd doesnt even compare. So the coach on first for Boyd needs to pay more attention to the feild than the stands just ask Bobby H. who is the master of distraction.

  2. Not rambling,I found this very interesting.

Interesting it is very!!! Soddy over rated. Boyd average. Baylor only class act in Chattanooga. As for the rest of Chattanooga you can wait for next year because thats all you can say. Soddy grow up leave it on the feild.

  3. Just for your information: Soddy's record against Goodpasture is 1-1. The first meeting it was Soddy 10 Goodpasture 0!

Also, I understand it was Goodpasture's coach that suggested they not play. Regardless, both teams are great teams and people shouldn't be so negitive.

The decision not to play was mutual...... you must have misunderstood...

  4. although devon is a great pitcher ... the pitcher cant carry the team by her self. who will be the leading hitters and the best feilders? the team is loseing their key starters what will they do ? who will take there spots next year ?

Goodpasture will miss these five great seniors but they will have one of there top hitters still in the lead off postion Natalee Weissinger whos better in that in the lead off spot. Heather Purcell and Christina Wiley along with freshman Tifany Hibbs will supply all the POWER they will need!!!!! Kelsy Cartwright,Megan Suggs,Megan Bryant and several other freshman will pick up right where the five fine seniors did early in their careers. Goodpastures coaches are great and will mold the 2005-2006 Lady Cougars as they have the team they have now. Corgars are here to stay for years to come!!!!!!!!!

  5. As for Club K, I think each athlete is different, what may be right for you daughter may not be right for mine. I kinda like the *holding pen for parents* because when you are on my $, I want the instructor paying attention to my daughter not a parent talking about theirs.

  6. Great softball players are not all about stats, awards or honors. They start with the desire to play the game, who works the hardest and who is the ultimate team player. I've coached and won hundreds of games and i built my teams on unselfish players. I hate to listen to Parents worry about stats and honors and nothing is worse than the player themselves competing with players on there on TEAM. A great player and true athlete will always rise to the top. By the way Weasal the only Club K is in Nashville along with the BEST High School Team You know!!!!! :D

  7. We have played several games at Coffee County...some of them being wins and some not......I myself have never experienced a BAD time....We love the atmosphere, the competition and the people...oh yeah, lets not forget the entertainment ....it had to be a rumor......See you Lady Raiders next year.....Good Luck in your summer ball.... ;)

  8. Thanks for the vote of confidence, ERA, we always look forward to a trip to Manchester, whether it is summer ball or high school. We will be there on Monday, would not miss it for the world.. Our girls are going to step up and do their best...and rally around our pitcher to do whatever needs to be done....and that is all the coaches have ask of them....DO YOUR BEST AND THE REST WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF...See you guys on Monday... :)

  9. The Lady Cougars are a team who plays well together and has developed into a TEAM. The Cougars all (14) of them have contributed in all 29 wins so far this season. They are taking it one game at a time to acheive the goals they set for the team befor the season started. Our players work very hard year around to improve their game. Our two coaches have done a very good job keeping the team focused in each and every game. The Lady Cougars have some very talented individules but our coaches have molded them into A Very Solid TEAM!!!!!!!

  10. TNT, you have to work to raise funds for travel ball. You have to travel to these tournaments they are not always in your area. We have played travel ball 7 years and we have yet to have a BIG sponsorship. We work to raise money in the off season. We do what we have to do to get our kids in these tournaments. Find her a team to play on. Not only to get her exposure but she will enjoy the experience of the summer season. It's great. :)
