Don't forget this name: ANDRIEUS LOFTIS with FAIRLEY HIGH SCHOOL IN MEMHPIS.
This very talented Junior is not even ranked and is one of the top 5-guards in the city in either class. He will be mid-major D1 for sure.

I'm really amazed that with all the basketball experts that have been posting replys in regard to the best H.S. team, not one person has mention the fact that White Station is no longer the power house team it has been over the past 3-4 years. They have a great group of talented kids, but they are not the unbeatable team that some are claiming. Not one person has mention the fact that (FAIRLEY H.S) is the BEST TEAM IN THE MEMPHIS MID-SOUTH AREA ahead of Whitestation and ranked #1 in the city and #5 in the State according to AP..... This team is UNDEFEATED IN THE CITY with victories over Hamilton, Northside, Whitehaven and Melrose. Led by Senior Malando Story and Junior Andrius Loftis with SUPER SOPHOMORES - Reginald Owens, RaShun Cromwell, Lawrence Johnson and Courtney Richardson - this is a team of the present and the future...

Lets not forget about the Mid-South Area in Memphis, Tn., where its loaded with taleted sophomores. I've said prior to this season that Reginald (THE WOOD) Owens would be leading the class. Fairley H.S. is ranked #1 in the City ahead of Whitestation and #5 in the State due in large part because of the sophomores, Reginald Owens - RaShun Cromwell - Lawrence Johnson - Courtney Richardson. These guys are building what could become the next dynasty in Memphis. All 4 should be ranked high because of there outstanding play. This team is undefeated in very tough league with wins over Hamilton, Northside, Whitehaven and Melrose. I expect to see a City Championship match-up between Fairley and Whitestation. Keep these sophomores on the tip of your tongue because it only gets better.

THE 15-YOMCA MEMPHIS BULLDOGS ARE A GREAT BASKETBALL TEAM BECAUSE OF THE TALENT, DISCIPLINE & ATTITUDE OF ITS PLAYERS. THIS TEAM HAS COACHING STAFF AND PLAYERS WHO ARE COMMITED TO SUCCESS. MOST OF THE PLAYERS (7) ARE FROM THE SAME SCHOOL, FAIRLEY H.S. UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE LEGENDARY COACH SYLVESTER FORD. THE OTHERS ARE GREAT PLAYERS FROM GOOD PROGRAMS. THIS TEAM HAS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE 1997 WINNING THE PAST 3 AAU STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND THE 1999 YBOA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. I WOULD NOT BE SUPRISE TO SEE THIS TEAM WIN THE AAU NATIONALS NEXT YEAR AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE THE TENNESSEE H.S. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP, MAYBE EVEN THIS YEAR, WITH 3-STARTING SOPHOMORES IN 6'10 CENTER - ROUSEAN CROMWELL, 6'5 POWER FORWARD - REGINAL OWENS AND
6'0 POINT GUARD - LAWRENCE JOHNSON.

There hasn't been a whole lot of activity on the Hoops board lately, so I thought I'd start up a thread that would be very interesting........
The following are my AAU/Summer Team Rankings....there is no precedent for this (no AP, etc), but I think it would be very interesting to rank, and then discuss the Rankings......Obviously there will be a lot of disagreement with these Rankings, but I put a lot of thought into them.....And as you all know, I coach the Midstate Ballerz, so you can obviously take that into consideration if you like, though I feel these are very impartial.......

Coach,
I know you missed one in your ranking....
Andrieus Loftis, 6'1
Has one of the best first steps in the city along with Andre Allen. Loftis explodes into the paint with a jump stop and can shoot it over the big guys. He's a pure shooter that can really score. He's one of the top 5 guards in the city in either class.
