  1. I really don't know why Gohornets thinks that Crockett beating them was a fluke. They were 3-7 last year. However, that is not normal.

    CC record

    2000: 10-2

    2001: 12-3 State Runner-up

    2002: 13-1 Region Champs, Semi-finals

    2003: 12-1 Region Champs, quarterfinals

    2004: 9-3

    2005: quarterfinals

    2006: 11-1 Region Champs

    2007: 4-6

2008: can't find record. Did make playoffs

    2009: 11-2 Quarterfinals

2010: 7-5 Hired coach then fired coach at last moment.

    2011: 3-7

It's not Milan but not too shabby. We have an extremely young team loaded with sophomores. I have nothing but respect for SGC. They have put a great team together in only their second year of varsity competition. But don't get ahead of yourself. Anyway this is about Milan and Crockett. We'll see SGC on October 19th.

  2. They may have lost maybe only two or three on the o line but for defense they still have all starting d-linemen. Check the rosters folk and just keep under estimating crockett. Obion is a game already won. Reynolds at 6'6 TE and the three rb's they have this year....just watch.

Check ya clipboard Bored Guy. <_<

Please Shut Up! Obion is a very good offensive team. ANYONE can beat anyone.

    Just ask Westview and Dyersburg.

  3. I wonder how happy Wayne County is that they don't have to play the Perry County football team this year?

Caleb Creasy should be glad that he doesnt have to go up against Drew Bunch. Cause more than likely when Drew hit him he would be out for the rest of the season!!!!  thumb

Yeah, it might hurt their strength of schedule ranking if they played Perry County.

  4. Rumor is the queen city jamboree will be resceduled to Saturday. They are afraid the gate wont be big enough. I thought this was a football jamboree not a fan jamboree.

In west Tennessee, a few of the jamborees help cover the cost of insurance. I would want as big a gate as possible

  5. It isn't more. They just want teachers to have a degree in the subject they teach. Universities are tired of having to teach students the skills that they should have learned in high school. REMEDIAL. More and More college freshmen are having to take these classes.

Elementary education is a degree in itself. They would not have to take extra hours for each subject they teach.

  6. I'M ALL FOR IT. IT SAVES UNIVERSITIES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN REMEDIAL CLASSES. OF COURSE, I'M NOT SAYING THAT ALL SCHOLARSHIP PLAYERS DON'T BELONG IN COLLEGE. JUST FACE REALITY, UT'S FOOTBALL TEAM HAS A GRADUATION RATE OF 8%. THESE UNIVERSITIES ARE ADMITTING STUDENTS WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING IN COLLEGE. IF A PLAYER CAN HACK IT AT THE NEXT LEVEL, THEN LET HIM GO.

  7. MITCHELL HAS MADE MORE IMPROVEMENT DURING THE COURSE OF A SINGLE SEASON THAN ANY TEAM THAT I CAN REMEMBER. CROCKETT BEAT THEM 31-0 IN WEEK 3. NOW LOOK WHERE THEY ARE NOW: IN THE SEMIS WITH AN IMPRESSIVE STRING OF VICTORIES OVER SOME OF WEST TENNESSEE'S FINEST. MITCHELL IS DEFINATELY FOR REAL.
