From bad to worse for the Mustangs. I hope Lee does well but I don't see it. HE HAS NEVER COACHED ON THAT LEVEL!!

Lee will do just fine he is a loretto football alumni and he will have people around him to help him. I think this could be very good for the program. Lee is very good with the kids and i think he will show progress and be just what we need.

Loretto vs north greene. Does anyone know much about north greene? Loretto had a very good day against jackson county. A loretto alumni is very proud of the ladies and their performance all year.

Are the mustangs ever going to get into the win column? I sure don't think it will be this year. What are they going to do now? It may be another coach. I can't believe once a great program that went to the state playoffs every year in 2A now can not win a game in 1A. It is sorry. The loretto program used to win 6-7 games a year in down years and in the past 3+ years they are 1-32. That's one win and 32 losses. In the past with this schedule past teams would have at worst lost one game but what can they do to turn it around.

As a former player who gratuated already from Loretto I can't stand to see the way teams have played in the last few years. I want to know what it is going to take to turn football around. I went to the playoffs each of my 4 years there. Everyone that i know can't even stand to go to the games anymore. What do ya think?

Who wins this game? I have seen loretto play and they are horrible. Camden will kill loretto all they have to do is run the ball. Loretto can't stop anyone and they sure can't stop anyone. It's really sad to see Loretto football in this condition b/c i know how they used to be. This team won't get any better for a long time b/c there sure needs to be some changes.

Friday night Loretto will finally face an opponent with a strong run game in LCHS. I hope they can stop the Cat's shifty runningbacks. I don't expect the Cats to pass as much without their starting quarterback, but who knows. The backup QB adds another area of intrigue to an already heated rivalry.

 

Over the past seven years the Cats lead the series with Loretto by a margin of 5-2.

With Loretto wins coming in 99 at Lawrence Co. and 02 at Loretto.

 

The game comes down to who can stop the run as both teams will try to pound it behind large offensive lines. The defense who can tough it out the longest will when this grudge match.

Loretto played a very good game against Harpeth tonight. Loretto won by putting up 22 points and holding Harpeth to no points. Way to go guys a shutout by the defense. 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the district.

Next week Loretto against law. co. at loretto so everyone come on down and watch the game. Lets keep the streak going guys.

you are right lbquarterbackclub the team that wins will be the team that makes the least number of mistakes. It should be a hard hitting game that it always is. I know that for a fact b/c i played in the rivalry. This one will be close! Loretto is not looking past lc believe me. Get ready! IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!

The mustangs are going to be alright. It is very true that they lost a lot of seniors last year but they are ok. The schedule really favors them this year and if they can get some momentum started early it will be another good year for football in mustang country. Don't give up on them yet. Talk will start up here pretty soon in the community just give it time.

loretto high school had one of the best offenses in the 91 season. They went undefeated until they had to play a private school in brentwood academy. If it would have been like it is now they would have won state in 2A that year.

I don't know a lot about riverside but i do know that loretto can play with anyone in the state when they want to. Tonights game will come down to who wants to play next week more. Loretto is pretty balanced on offense and play alright defensively. Just like always the game will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes. I am close to the mustangs and i can tell you they will be ready to play when they get to riverside. Good luck mustangs....

Well if you have been down to the south end of the state and been to a loretto game it really is a nice stadium. The field is one of the best in appearance and i know the coaching staff there takes great pride in it. I played on that field for 4 years and i wouldn't want to play anywhere else if i had the choice. Great crowd, nice stadium, extremely nice field, and tough place to play.....

I wont put a score because it really doesnt matter. A win is a win. This is the second biggest game the Tigers will play this season. We ruined our chances with Lewis Co., but it wont happen again. We are sick and tired of not having any fan support at the games. We lost 2 games and they all stopped coming. We are in the fight for the playoffs. We are going to prove ourselves worthy this Friday. This one is for second place in the region. Whoever has the biggest heart will pull this one out. Speed doesnt matter in a game like this.

How can you say that speed will not matter in this game. Speed has alot to do in every football game no matter what happens. The loretto crew will bring alot of fans more than likely to waverly for this district match-up. This game could come down to who doesn't trun the ball over and who makes the least amount of mistakes. This will be an extremely close game. I can't wait until this game is ready to kick off. Way to go Mustangs and keep it rolling.

Depends on how many unsprtsmanship flags thrown against Loretto............

well if loretto keeps the penalties down and they play as hard as they did against fairview then i believe loretto wins the game. This is a big game in the county and both teams will be ready but i think loretto has a few more athletes in this game. Go Mustangs!!!

this weeks game should be a good one. Loretto didn't play all that bad against ezell in week 0. They did some things wrong but they played extremely hard and i think it's going to be a dog fight this friday. I don't know alot about what collinwood has returning but i know they will be good. I think loretto will improve from this past friday night and i expect this game to go down to the wire.

Well first time posters are always a welcome site. Welcome to coacht the place of many disgreements except that football owns us. I think it should be a spirited game with lots of hitting. Last year loretto became victims of the unknown Ezell's spread offense. They will try to stop Antoin OWnes AJ Blackburn Austin Henderson Kyle Todd and randy schlappi the QB in the high octane ezell-offense. I dont know what loretto has on the offesnive side of the ball, but i do know they will play hard and hit hard.

 

Last year was what it was Ezell will rival its play from last year and loretto should be prepared this year so im lookin forward to my 2 hr drive this afternoon for a good game.

well i can tell you a little bit about what loretto has coming back. They have alot of talented players coming back on both sides of the ball with experience. On offense they have several talented receivers and good QB as well as one of the toughest running backs i have ever seen. On defense they have most everyone back except for a couple. I am looking forward to this game and have a safe trip to loretto and we will see you tonight.

moore co. just to let you know but lewis co. has played in many of places with hostile crowds and i don't think that lynchburg will rattle them very much. Good luck to both teams.
