Jeff MacDaniel is out at Clay County as head football coach. Whose next at C-town? What about Coach Teeples?

Heard it at the barber shop this morning that MacDaniel from Celina is going to be the next head football coach at Livingston.

Hermitage Springs is not there yet,as for making a difference,none will be shown in 07.

Will Coach MacDaniel be back next season? I have heard that he is going to be the new head coach at Livingston. If so, will Coach Teeples come back or maybe Coach Stone?

Whats it gonna be like in 2007 for Clay county football? With the mixture of the Hermitage Springs players it could be a new year for C-Town Football?

So does that mean Daniel Cook is taking the job?  He's the closest thing to Owl Football I've heard about!  If he ever wants to get tenure in the teaching profession, he would be stupid to take over as head coach.  Surely he and his wife know better.  Prock won't be around for four more years to take care of them.  He plans to retire in 2-3 years!

Any man who takes this job is just crazy! Working For Mike ###### is not going to last very long. Look at how they treat coaches in Macon County. If The super doesn't get you the pee wee coaches and powerful men will.

da word on the street in c-town is coach mac will be coachin his last game as a bulldawg this week. hes out as baseball coach after june board meeting and may not be a teacher to. more to come from brown street in 2 weeks

Trousdale wont play anyone in the region that came hang with them two quarters of fball. My boys wont be good next year. no line and 2 or 3 real players. Good QB and one good linemen plus maybe 2 others. Monterey will be good and so will gville. Dont now bout watertown.

Lack of coaching and leadership, that's been our problem for the past two seasons!

I wish we could dump Coach Mac and get Coach Teeples to take his place. Come on Coach, please take over our program!

maybe so but we still had so much potenal. i cant remember any team with so many players. two years ago we had a good coach who beleaved in us and when this coach came he said all the right things but last year he got the job he really wanted and no one else would coach us. i just wish the boys next year will have a coach that wants to play and win. some body who just coaches baseball. some body said he was forced to coach it this year. cant some body come to celina and coach because he wants to not because he has to

I have played for several coaches in the last four years at clay county and I feel its time for a change. Im not goin to list any bodies name so no one gets offended but come on with the talent we had this year we should be better. some of it was our fault but we all now we need something new. Why cant our school go out and get a good coach like the girls bb team did? We need someone who just wants to coach baseball and will make us better. Every body new he didnt want to coach us this year but was stuck with the job. He canceled practices and games every week and yelled at us all the time. we need some changes in celina and I hope our school board can see it. with our talent we should have finished 1 or 2 in district. we had the best baseball talent weve ever had at celina and we didnt do any better than we have in the past. his first year with us he was like Im gonna do this and Im gonna do that now he just dont seem to care to much. Can some one help us?

That's Coach McDaniels for you. If he thought there was a chance he could beat you he would show up. I guess thats why his team is having a hard time giving there all because it's hard to play for someone who has no confidence in you. Clay County has a good baseball team they just need better leadership.

our team is down right now. our coach aint been at school much and he thinks hes gonna be the next girls basketball coach. he also coaches football and they missed a lot of practices cause he decided to go home early. he doesnt seem to care much about the kids and its real sad. i dont know why adults like him but they do.

what a dumb guy. I hope he does get the bball job so maybe we can get a real baseball coach.
