    what 7 on 7 camp are you talking about if you are talking about the rick stockstill 7 on 7 then your wrong only 2 schools was there and it was not smyrna it would have had to have been another camp going on around here that i am not aware of. but of course i am not aware of them all

     

    One was on Monday with Independence and Shebyville, the other was on Friday with MBA and a lot of others .....guess you don't know everything that is going on. Saturday 7/19 he will be at Western KY for a 7 on 7 camp, did you know about that one?

    TO ALL THAT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT BRYSON NO ONE KNOWS YET WHERE HE IS BECAUSE AS OF RIGHT NOW HE HAS NOT WENT TO SPRING CAMP NOR IS HE WORKING OUT IN SMYRNA SO WE WILL SEE IN ANOTHER WEEK WHERE HE SHOWS UP AND AS FOR EVERYONE SAYING HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO SKIP A YEAR. YOU ARE SO WRONG GOING FROM PUBLIC TO PRIVATE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIT OUT.

     

     

    YOU ARE WRONG ... I was at all three scrimmages and Bryson sat out the last one because his "toe" was aggravated. He has been at summer workouts and will be a BULLDOG next year. He just went to both 7 on 7 camps this week .... where do you get your information??????

     

    A word of advice ... don't start stuff on here you can not or do not know anything about .... To everyone else, I promise you this is not tue! Jeremiah would not dessert his teammates for Shad or for any other coach.

     

    This site used to be fun and full of knowledge, but it has becaome a place to start total rumors and lies!

    Gallatin beat Smyrna 2-0

     

    Boyd pitched a terrific game but the Bulldogs couldn't get it done when it mattered...

     

    I swear someone should wake them up...they can be some of the most immature noncaring players in the State. I drove all that way to see them play and they came out and handed Gallatin the game. Smyrna should have won...but they didn't want it at all.

     

     

    That kind of attitude starts at the very top from the entire staff!

    Not sure who pitched for Smryna but Beech threw Sophomore Robert Hansen followed by Senior Wesley Robinson. Sonny came in to pitch the final out of the game.

     

     

     

    Adam Boyd pitched for 5 innings .... 8 strike outs,1 walk and 4 hits. Andy Phillips and Sonny Gray finished the game. I think Sonny only threw to 2 or 3 batters.

    What was the admission price tonite at Mt Juliet??

     

     

    The reason for my question about admission price, was that we got to Dickson County expecting it to be $5 and it was $6. I thought the TSSAA mandated the pricing of the region games. I know the district was $4. I was just curious ... maybe Dickson Co needed a fundraiser. Just a question!

    Hey Loyal MDO ....

     

    I am one of the biggest supporters Smyrna has, but you are picking on the wrong team. Oakland High School has one of the BEST baseball programs in the state year in and out. Smyrna had a great season last year, but lets not let that go to our heads . You act like we have had banner seasons forever ..... buddy this is was the first time to the region in 10 years!!! You say you don't care about region and district, GUESS WHAT ???? you have to win those to go to the state!

    Hopefully we can go back to the state this year and the team is working hard towards that goal .... don't make them look as ignorant as you look right now! I, as a fan appreciate enthusiasm, but save it for the games.

    Personally, I hope Oakland keeps up the tradition as well as Smyrna, Riverdale and others ....makes Rutherford County look good!

    SMYRNA ??” It's only a little more than a month since Smyrna defeated Independence in the TSSAA Class 5A BlueCross Bowl, but already coach Philip Shadowens has moved on ??” to next season, that is.

     

    ???We expect to compete for another state championship next year,??? he said. ???That??™s a process that takes a whole year of preparation for, and that??™s what we??™ll start on next week. We??™ll start our after-school offseason program beginning next week and we??™ll start working toward getting better one day at a time, like we always have."

     

    Shadowens recently talked Middle Tennessee Christian School (he has two daughters who are students there) about taking over that school's three-year-old program following the departure of Eddie Bassham. He endorsed the MTCS job as ???a great opportunity for whoever takes it??? but decided to stay at Smyrna, where he graduated in 1985 and where he has produced unprecedented success during his 14 seasons as coach.

    Well looks like someone got lazy on us.

     

     

     

    Coach has a job that includes finals this past week, as well as a TON of other things in the school, so I am sure over the break we will get plenty of pics and wallpapers ....lighten up!

    Keep up the great work Coach!!

    i heard shadowens joined a church of christ in murfreesboro within the past few weeks. sounds like he is trying to meet the requirements?

     

     

    The girls have been in the school for two plus years and that is when they became involved in Church of Christ, they live in the that area.

    Been a little longer than the past few weeks .... few years!
