Seeing how Collinwood just beat wayne county then they should have a lot of trouble with McEwen, Collinwood is now 1-3 and 6-7 in the region but who cares

How do you go 6-7 with a ten game schedule? as for he region, they beat CA, Cornersville, Mt pleasant

Loretto and Richland

McEwen won three games all season

Im glad because the woodies wont have to travel to some distant planet

like they usually do in the playoffs...they get to play a game(s) right in

Mt Pleasant has a freshman quarterback. They've played better lately but their

schedule got a lot easier too. Not nearly as good as the Marco Dailey teams

but they're not terrible...decent talent but kinda mistake prone like Collinwood

Well it sounds like this will be a crowded game, I might want to make this one. I figure it will be a good one.

Heard #15 for Cwood got a concussion (not good for him to be fighting with his own teammates when he's on the sidelines if he's in that condition) .... and #6 for WC got a spinal chord concussion, whatever that means? Anyways, good game from both teams. I was really impressed by both.

Jacob Tucker for Heisman! This kid is the real deal and only a Soph. I enjoyed watching him play 4 or 5 games this year. I follow his stats on the Tennessean website, ending the year with 2000+ passing yards, 700+ rushing yards, 110+ tackles, and 27 total TD's I believe. If you haven't seen this kid play I'd be finding out where he plays first round of playoffs. There aren't many players like this kid still in the game.

three losses as opposed to PC's two??? This new system makes no sense to anyone although

I like the region, it seems well suited to limit the long road trips

But since MtP is 2A, I don't think any time a 1A team plays them it should affect their playoff chances.

but I think it does...on the plus side, if Mt Pleasant had beat Collinwood and Waynesboro this

year it would have had no bearing on the 1a playoff seeding for the wayne co teams

just like them losing to Collinwood and Waynesboro and Pc had no bearing on Mt plesant

getting a high 2a seed...funky

I still don't understand that you say PC's D is so bad, but yet they stopped C'wood's game..mmmmm...strange. If C'wood's run D can stop us which it will be hard with Warren, Graham, and Crews, then we'll throw it over the top to little Rice.

no PC didn't stop collinwood at all...the wood had well over 400 yards. Unfortunately they

also had three fumbles plus 9 bad penalties and two ints early that put them down in

a hole bad Collinwoods mo all year has been the big mistakes...maybe they are

due a clean game...I hope anyway

yes, waynesboro may do some damage if they throw but I actually think seeing all those

passes PC heaved up was good medicine for collinwoods secondary which has been

pretty up and down all season

as for PC, if you had watched them at home against Collinwood and then watched them on the

road against WC and cornersville you would swear it was two different teams you

saw...weird

I love Tucker's game though...what a battler but they got no run stop at all

Well from some sources we have heard Quad #2 could look exactly like you have, but another option they are looking at is S. Pitt, Lookout, Eagleville, Wayne County, Perry County, and Collinwood.

Quad #3 would be Jo Byrns, McEwen, Gordonsville, Clay, Montery, MTC.

thanks for the offer, I finally did decide to go see PC and Cville and man what an awesome game

it was...the best ive seen this year outside of Davidson Academy and Collinwood game...a lot of

fun. I cheered for Cville since PC is already in the playoffs this year(im sure thats why they won)

after watching the PC Cville game I feel a lot better about my Trojans.

I'm pretty convinced after watching the dogs run all over PC that the

wood defense is the first real d the cats will have seen all year. I think

it will take them awhile to adjust...I think collinwood can win this one

if they dont beat themselves with the mental mistakes

turnovers will decide this game

I went to this game because my gut told me it would be a good one...it definitely was too!

The dogs battled like they wanted it all night and PC played hard too.

The dog backs were very impressive on both sides of the ball. They were fast enough

to run down the PC receivers.

Tucker was amazing, he has great escapability and kept his head up looking for receivers

He almost connected with Mercer on a bomb that would have won the game for them

there at the end. Mercer looked a little banged up to me?

Now I know how WC hammered PC...PC has almost NO run defense. Ville took it straight

at them all night with great success. I feel a lot better about the Cwood WC game now

because I think WC will find the wood d much heavier sledging than anyone else they

have played.

Looks like Pc is a different team away from home...thats how it goes sometimes

need to tighten up next week
