without a doubt I would have loved to stay and play in my home town but there was no way i was going to play for big al. If spears would have started coaching in 97 all of us would have stayed and probably brought home a gold ball. I never knew why spears didn't wo'nt to coach us.. Going to ca was great and playing with my best friend was great but the school overall stunk, nothing but hypocrites. I wish we all could have played together. If you really think about the team we would have it would have been unreal; robinson, spears, tenry, keltner, davis, alexander, sigler, plus more. We would have had 12 starters. I don't even like to think about, us with the best coach ever. IT would have been great but we can't live in the past. If I could do it over I would have stayed and loved playin with my my cuz. Can't beat that whitwell bloodline. It runs deep. I' ready for a backyard football game soon also.

what will they bring to the court this year. Will thay ever have teams like 97,98,99. I doubt it . Just trying to start a topic to talk about

can someone tell me how lc can be so good and be ranked every year and thier coach being worshipped but get put out year after year in the first or second round. No team there compares to the team of 96 who should not have been beat by goodpasture

There's nothing like going back home to see your family after being at school and dealing with so many people. And then to top it off you get to play ball in a five game series with a bunch of good ol boys. It was great after playing at our rec center where its nothing but hot dogs and 1 0n 1. I enjoyed every game even though we lost three in a row. Big kelt caught fire in the last two but he was also open a lot due to his defender having to chase others around and the trying to get back to him, it was a difficult task but that is what its all about, hustle. I think the games would have went the other way if mckissick back wasn't ailing him and if we would have hit 15% of our lay ups instead of 5%. Andy was hustling but just couldn't score, also a personal problem for the ol andinator. Maybe that is why his game was affected. Just playin andy, I enjoy playing with you because you usually hustle. The combo of the keltners and cox turned out to be victorious but I'm willing to guarantee that we will not be defeated again.
