  1. Okay....several questions about this QB.

    You bought your body?

It`s only worth 800 now..does that mean you are going downhill (exercise might help)

Are you selling your body online?

VG (who is concerned about QB)

VG - I think I probably should have read ALL the posts all the way through before replying to QB's post about buying herself a new body. I should have known you would pick up on that too! Wonder if she watches that show "Nip/Tuck"?? Not that I have watched it, but I hear that doctor on there can do wonders for a body!

  2. Two of the women that take professional pictures...and the guy that takes the senior pictures...all have the same body as mine...they just have larger lenses...

When I bought my body about two years ago...it was close to $1000...now it's about $800...probably can find it cheaper online...

Wait a second!!! I CAN GET A NEW BODY???? Man!! I've been wanting to update the one I have - It's getting kinda old, and getting a few wrinkles here and there, little did I know I could just purchase a NEW BODY!!! :thumb:

  3. I have no idea what the rule is but I wanted to comment on the post. I do not believe that home schoolers should be allowed to participate on a public school sports team. The home-schooled child's family made the decision to not enroll their child in the public school system and instead home-school them. Yes, I know they pay taxes like everyone else does, blah, blah, blah, I've heard it before, but it was THEIR choice to withdraw from public school. There are city recreational leagues in which they can participate. Yes, I know, I've also heard how they want to be more competitive by being on public school teams, etc., but there are some AWESOME travel teams out there which would address that issue as well as give them public exposure for scholarships or whatever else they are looking for. I just don't think it is right. That's my opinion.

  4. I agree VG about equality and all that. But, unfortunately, it does not always exist. For instance, at our local high schools the girls softball fields did not have lights. Some bright moron said that if all the girls' fields didn't have lights, none of them could have them. When the girls had a home game it had to be played right after school so as to not run out of daylight. The boys' fields had lights from day one. Just last year all the girls' fields got lights. Ridiculous!

Now, what gripes me about Title IX is that a lot of men's sports are being done away with in the name of "equality". Makes me sick! To my understanding, I don't think they even count Cheerleading as a sport, nor the dance teams at college level. That sure might help some if those were reclassified as sports so great sports like wrestling wouldn't have to disband because of Title IX. I heard somewhere, not 100% sure that it is true, that the UCLA gymnastics team disbanded because of it. I believe that some of our Olympic gymnasts came from UCLA. This is just plain ridiculous! Leave it to politicians and these idiotic politically correct people to screw it up for everyone else!

  5. Anyone here ever see "They Call Me Trinity" or "Trinity is Still My Name?" Especially the part where they eat the pork and beans. Seemed appropriate here.

Again....what in the world are you talking about? Poke and beans???

(Padding my posts baby, padding my posts! Yeah! )

  6. Check with some of the other schools around your area and see how they do it. I agree that the cheerleaders should be picked by the coach. If the student body picks them it can become a popularity or beauty contest, not one based on ability. Maybe you can present an alternative to your administration after checking with other schools to see how they do it. Good luck to you.

  7. I have a hearing impaired student in my classroom. She is excellent at lip-reading but she also has an interpreter (which she would rather not have, but the mother INSISTS that she have). It is their educational right to have one but the interpreter is not to interfere in my classroom in any way. Her job is to interpret what I say and to be as "invisible" as possible. This mom gives a whole new meaning to the term "soccer mom". If she is the interpreter for the player, her job is to interpret when needed, that is all.

  8. Nada. They should be chucked to the sea.

Speaking of sea, Coach Seay chose an awful trendy get up for his boys considering his age.

Hmm, I saw quite a few "trendy" things this past weekend. What kind of "get up" did Coach Seay choose for his boys?
