You know where my vote is going! 18 points per game.. 9 boards.. 4 assist... and he plays D! Corey Shankle... I mean yea he is my brother.... But if you disagree, then tell me a legit reason! He should have got it last year, he had the best numbers... But Gallager got it from Cascade! He is 27 away from 1000 in 60 games played... He will prob get it in the chamionship game! He also averages 12 shots per game! Which is not many for a scorer like him... But there are a few others that it could go to... Lets hear the opinions... Oh and Corey's team finished first... That always helps!

Letdown... No way... The only let down is that Summertown didn't have an answer for Corey Shankle... 34 points... 6 steals. 4 blocks... 3 charges taken... I keep telling you guys he is one of the best in the state in single A but no credit... He earned it tonight against a top ten team.... Great job Corey... You are an amazing player and you are definatly the best in 9A... If you don't win season MVP then they need to throw the award away... 30 away from 1000 now... Oh and he only scorey 13 points his freshamn year and only played 36 minutes... In two seasons he has 1000 points... Give the boy his credit...

Unionville is the worse team in the world... not only the state... There great shooter can't even walk without looking goofy... He may shoot good but he can't even get his shot off! They are not gonna be good... Sorry to say that! I mean it's just bad...

Refuge... I like you... You actually made some sense on that last post... VB plays a tight zone... If you have shooters that can knock down shots then you will kill VB.... Just like you kind of said... I think Eagleville will win this game if they can manage about 8-10 3s.... If not, then I think VB takes this because they are tough in the paint!

Umm no I don't think i need to check my stats... I think I got this one pretty right... He shoots around 70 percent... He shoots on average 12 times a game... and averages around now... So he has to hit his shots to score that much with so little attempts... Look... Community is terrible, they don have a player on there team worth 2 cents.... So why don't you worry about them and get off Shankle's back... Because you know he is a great shooter... I don't care what the paper says... Last time i checked the paper didn't win games.... So shut up and try to win a game on the floor... Have you guys won a game yet? Oh, and speaking of looks... Corey is getting looks but none from D1.... How many other players in this district are getting looks... Just curious... I am sure community has alot of future college players...

I think it will be close... Within ten points but i think Forrest has the advantage once again... The reason I think VB is second best... They have a post presence and defense... Eagleville's success is dependant on the 3 ball way to much... With that style of play you do pretty well until you meet someone with great D... I like there style of play... But it usually doesn't hold up the whole season and especially in tourney's... When there is more pressure on the shooters!

Oh my... I never said he was the best player in the world or whatever you are trying to say... I knwo they did not play that way the first time... They played half court zone and man most of the game at VB... And I can promise you that Shankle and VB post are not equal... Also, I am tired of argueing this game... We won you guys lost... I hope you guys win out so you can be better than 4th because you really are the 2nd best team in 9A... What a game that would be if we matched up in the Champ game... But that's looking way ahead! You guys played tremendous.... It was a thriller! But dont hate on Shankle... Leading the district in scoreing two years in a row is not easy task.. Esp. as a Soph and Jr... One on one he takes anyone in the district.... Bottom line! But don't get this confused.. I never said he was god or the best ever or the best in the state! Umm you have 3 guys on 1 player... If you knew anything about ball you would have noticed that VB was playing a very slack man to man with 4 people in the paint almost always basically daring our guards to beat them! They did this because they didn't want corey to beat them! That was obvious and a good coaching move... What you mean how do you tripple team all of forrest posts... You put 3 guys around them all.. I don know if you are being funny or what... Corey had 16 in 20 minutes last night as well... While he had a bad night to his standards, most people couldn't get a shot off with three people on them... Do not insult Corey on here... You wish you had a player in his league!
