If a team has traditions like that, they should keep them for home games, cause it is a slap in the face to the other team. Just think how mad the Riverdale fans would be if some team went and stomped on the emblem in the middle of your field. I respect traditions of schools, but you can push it too far, and that is an example. But hey, if they try that friday night, it might just spark some extra energy to the cavs.
yeah i agree....traditions like the spear should stay at home

We won 6 games without Cookeville players. Could have won a couple of more without all the injuries. You Cookeville BOYS need to stay in Putnam County. Stay out of White County. Glad some WARRIORS are coming to Cookeville to end your season. May not be White Co. Warriors, but it's still WARRIORS.
It's fun getting you Cookeville fans tore up. hehe
injuries....always a pretty good excuse

cavs take um 28-17

My mistake on the homefeild situation. And as far as Cookeville thinking about cahmpionship....im sure they are. Every good team has championship in the back of their minds. That doesnt mean they are overlooking anyone at all. I DONT SPEAK FOR THE PLAYERS IN ANYWAY. That was just my opinion on how i thought it might go down this next month. I m sure they know that any team can win any game at any time. The coaches are probably pounding that in thier minds every day. All i was saying is that it COULD happen and that is how i would like to see it.

OK So we all know that Cookeville is, most likely, the only team that will make it past the 1st round in region 3-5a and that is after they play a good la vergne team. Cookeville might have one of the toughest roads to travel in the playoffs. They have to then play Wilson Central in a rematch of last year's playoff game between the two. Then the big one for Cookveville. Riverdale. Riverdale has been a team that has put Cookeville out of the playoffs 4 times in the last 8 years including last year's loss in the quaterfinals. But i think that this year will be different. Riverdale is good..their great...but they have not be AS dominant, in some games, as the have in the past. I know 10 - 0. You just cant argue with that, but in common games :
RHS 27 LCHS 0 - CHS 44 LCHS 3
RHS 34 LEBANON 21 - CHS 34 LEBANON 14
So it looks to me like from common games that they are pretty evenly matched. I know that this is all on paper and these are if certain teams win but it is just my thoughts on what i think will happen up to the 3 rd round.
what does everyone else think?
by the way cookveville plays at home all the way to the championship if they win!

OK We all know that, most likely, Cookeville is the probably going to be the only team to make it out of the 1 st round from 3-5a. Laverne is good but i think the Cavs will take them. Then they will get Wilson Central in Cookeville for a chance to repeat last year's playoff game between the two. That game is for a shot at the big dog. Riverdale vs. Cookeville in Cookeville. Do the Cavs have what it takes to make all of this come true? I say they do. They are clicking well and Riverdale is not as invincable as they have been in years past. They have shown their weaknesses and i think the cavs will exploit them in a huge upset in Round 3.
I know that this is all a long way away and this is just my opinion but what does everyone else think???

talking to me after the game from # 70 of hville...u guys were classy and you have my respect---good luck /...hope to git you again next year
-
chsboys98 where are you from???
-
i think hendersonville will lay it all out there and WIN in a close one ....their O will still be rolling from some decent offensive games in the last few weeks and if their D plays like they did the last half of the cenntinial game then Franklin might just have to turn their pads in a little earlier than they thought
27-24 hville
-
well we now know that hville did have what it takes to beat centennial --28-27....pretty sweet score if you are a hendersonville supporter.....BRING ON FRANKLIN!!!!!
GO COMMANDOS!!!
-
23-20 hendersonville on top
-
what do you guys think about the hville- dc rematch ...earlier in the season hville almost had um but dc pulled it out late.....will next friday be the same or different???
hville 20

does anyone have the score i cant find it
-
anybody got an update or final?
-
after the hhs -hlhs game ,hl were good sports and asked us to pray with them and we did ....besides a little bit of talking during the game, which came from both sides, they were good sports and had the upmost class in my opinion
-
there are millions of ways it could happen ..and i think i have one ....antioch losed to hend. and hl makeing the 4-2 ...hend.wins its last two making them 4-2 and then if gallatin beats hl and hl beats antioch they will be 4-2...that is 3 teams tied at the top at 4-2...its all just too crazy ...it kinda makes your head hurt
Riverdale @ Cookeville
