ECS is ranked #5 in the Memphis area right now and will move up. They are ranked #7 in TNsoccer DII. They are not a team to take lightly or play without all of your best players. They have always played CBHS tough as well.

My respect is highest for the leading scorers during state. Scoring in the "Big Dance" is what it is all about!

The best AAA teams in Memphis are Houston, Collierville, Ridgeway, Germantown, and White Station. The tough thing for these teams is they are all in Region 8, District 15 so only 2 will make it to state. I think Collierville is peaking this year and I don't look forward to playing them.

Yeah, Phillip(phillie) Ramsey, tell the team scrawny Jon said props. Good that these teams played finally. You have to respect teams like CBHS and Farragut for being able to stay on top for so long. It is more difficult than most realize. Everytime you strap on your boots, you are somone else's biggest game of the year.

CBHS also squeeked by Beech 7-0 in the second game. Again, this was in the news but does anyone know when Farragut-CBHS will be played now?

Sorry Happy, I thought you were asking about a game between CAK and McMinn but it is actually McMinn vs. Knoxville Catholic. I have to say it will be a hard fought game but I think Knoxville Catholic will edge McMinn especially since McMinn just exhausted themselves against Bearden. Good luck to both teams.

Impressive win, Farragut appears to be at another level above the rest of the state. CBHS game will confirm this.

Ridgeway 1 over Sheffield 0 MUS 12 over St. Benedict Academy(SBA) 0 Memphis Central 3 over Kingsbury 0 from local news.

I think White Station outshot Briarcrest about 10 to 8. Briarcrest had about 5 corners to White Staton's 3. Adam Helton assisted by Arian Moshref's cross was the first Briarcrest score about 2 minutes in. Teddy Bartels scored their second goal at about the 10'. Andrew Edelson scored the first goal for White Station assisted by freshman Navid Jafara's free kick about 30' and Jafari scored the second goal for White Station following up on Andrew Edelson's power shot rebound about 70'. Luke Harris in goal for Briarcrest and Jeff Wagner in goal for White Station. Dillion Hall went out in the second minute for White Station with an ankle injury and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks. Teddy Bartels went out in the later first half for Briarcrest and taken to ER-returned and stated he had a broken nose - out for unknown time. That's about it.

Briarcrest 2 White Station 2 @ Briarcrest. Briarcrest posted 2 early goals off crosses in the first 10 minutes. White Station responded with 1 goal late in the first half off a free kick volley. Halftime score 2-1 Briarcrest. White Station scored midway in the second half on a rebound off a power shot. An apparent winning goal by White Station off a corner kick was posted on the scoreboard but was removed as the Center had called a foul during the score with about 5 minutes to play. Final again was 2-2.

ECS 1 White Station 1 Good game by both teams. ECS scored on corner early in second half and White Station scored on a PK with about 5 minutes to play. Both teams had several impressive goalie saves.

<you've gotta put dyersburg high school in that top 10 ..they're returning 8 starters and there offense is explosive their defense is fast and physical and they have a brick wall for a goalie and if it wasn't for a late own goal they would've beatin bartlett and been in the region championship last year > My list should have read Memphis top 10 picks.. I am sure you are right, I listed Memphis teams.. that is all I've play against. Give us some insight on the West TN teams deserving this year like Dyersburg and others. Where do they fall in your opinion.

I understand, my brother won state a couple of times, he was never nervous like you would think, he had confidence from the club ball experiences to fall back on. My team chokes pulling into the other team's parking lot before an exhibition game!!! Too many freshman and soph's right now...lots of maturity still needed also. Sounds like FRA all the way again..... Good luck
