Hamm, Thank you for doing these. We all enjoy reading and "debating" them.
Pretty certain Mason Jakob will be entering the 113/120 convo very soon.
I totally agree. I have an eye on him. I just wasn't sure what weight he is.

I do agree with Oceansize on this one. "Mad" Max would beat Fowler, and I do not suspect it would be that close of a match.
Totally my mistake. I mistook Fowler's win over Sturgill as Fowler over Norman.
Its been fixed.

Is there still a list of upcoming tournaments in the state? If so, where may I find it?

You care way too much of one mans opinion. If its that important to you do your own rankings and put your son number 1 in each weight.
You're about to get lit up by the rest of the board. I apologize in advance for this. But not really.
VERY WELL SAID!

Didn’t Ryan Smith get dec by Crowder from DB? How is Smith still at 3 and Crowder not ranked at all?
The majority of Crowder's matches have been at 220. He also won his region at 220.

First set of rankings should be out in a couple of weeks. The coaches poll, what I think you are talking about usually comes out a bit after that.
This poll normally comes out the first week in Dec.

Large and small school rankings will be posted by monday on pin-tn.com

According to a recent poll McTorry still has the record.
Hooker, who holds the Tennessee high school record with 240 career wins
Both records were passed last year by Michael Kramer of Wilson Central

Did Notre Dame actually compete in AAA? or is their time spent in D1 (one classification) before the A/AA - AAA split being considered AAA here?
They were AAA before the split to large and small school. Afterwards, they were small school, and now they are D2

The real question is how many schools have had the opportunity?
Great point!

Thats the team!!!!

Until 1998, TSSAA Wrestling was only one division. In 1998, it split into two divisions, then later three divisions. In this time, there has been only one (to the best of my knowledge) to not only wrestle in all three divisions, but to put at least one wrestler into the individual state final of each division.
Can you name this school?

No.
I'm only kidding, but should be posted by next week. If you know of someone who should be included, please send their name, school, and weight to: hammrankings@gmail.com
