The word on the street is that the next head coach just may be a former college assistant at a nearby local university who also has west tennessee connections, oh and has a daughter that attends Ensworth. If this hire does happen it is a great hire!

Scout - I have seen Harrick and he is a strapping young lad that could probably take you in a "loser leave Coach T for life" match at Pinkerton Park in Franklin!

It would be one thing if it was at a high school field but come on this is MTSU.. Have you been there? It's pretty dog gone big. Don't even know if you would even hear the band on the field from the stands.

I agree. It is amazing how when a team is playing so good....people start picking apart the players. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. Heckman is a great athlete with a great HEART for the game. I will take that any game over "bigger hands"!!!!!! Shoud be one heck of a game. Does anyone know if it will be on WCTV or whatever the local channel is??

Why do you even keep up with the Cougars and have a screen name with them included when you went to 3 schools in 4 years. Congrats on winning the Metro Christian League. Don't hate the coach...if he was the problem then Daniels, Frey, and Buchanan would have left a long time ago.

The McGavock Defense is not the problem...it is the offense and special teams. Tonight will be McGavocks last game this year but it won't be because of the defense. Just watch and see. Brentwood wins by 21.

Goodpasture scrimmages Smyrna and Stratford this week. All three teams are still playing football so they may be short handed. As far as Cougars2State you may want to change your name to Metro Christian 2 State. The straw that stirs the pot is back...Big Eagle and NCS03. (Hines and Travis). The one team evryone is overlooking is the Cougars of Goodpasture. 6'11 and 6'8 doesn't bode well for many teams. Yea, I know CPA beat them twice blah,blah,bla...but the ride to McEwen isn't easy and the curse of the old McEwen gym carrying over to the new one (Legend had it that one goal was shorter than the other and that's why some teams had difficulty playing there.) I believe McEwen and Goodpasture advance to Substate. What do you think Johnny H., I didn't say 9A would sweep.

I have heard through the grapevine that Brentwood has added a game Friday night against Glencliff (BOYS ONLY). Would this play in favor of T. Welch returning in time for the district tournament? Any Comments
