That's one time Murphy would have been wrong. It's one thing to say they are a contender for 1A, but to say that for 3A is nothing short of a joke. The same goes for 2A.

They always have a good program. No doubt they have a good team this year. I don't think their win over Smith county is as big as it looks. I think SC is way down this year. The bottom line is year after year Trousdale is a team that is hard to beat. They have a few down years but not many. They are usually always in contention for the top spot. Now that the privates are gone they have an easier run at it.

If you can't see the light on this then you are denser than the coach said his students were. There are somethings anyone can see except the ones that don't want too. Yes the reason Trousdale went back to 1A is because the privates went to 2A that's the way it is and trying to deny it is the same as the privates saying they don't recruit. You can say it isn't so untill doomsday, but I still know it's the truth. Nuff said!

Thats true but there is a catch South Pittsburg did well against them too. In fact Trousdale and SP pretty well had their way with them. The privates didn't start really hitting their stride untill about 2000 when they realized the gate money to be earned. They hired good coaches that were well paid. Came up with super players year after year. and started making their mark. After that Trousdale would have went down just like everyone else and they know it. That is the reason they left 1A. Why is this so hard to understand? Most people saw it right away. There 's no shame in it. In fact it was good business. But it seems to get one of them to admit it is like pulling wisdom teeth. Why, I still don't understand.

I am going to go with Hampton vs South Pittsburg Mt. Pleasant vs Jackson Christian Final SP vs JC I won't predict the outcome of this one. The others are a little bit of wishful thinking, but entirely possible.

Can Bledsoe stop SP or do they avenge last years defeat?

It seems that Trousdale is the one to beat at the present with the next 4 or 5 following close behind. It probably comes down to who stays healthy and who wants it the most.

I am from SP. Yes, I realize I have been wrong bringing this up as the team now were just small kids then. I apologize to them and wish them all the luck. I have several good friends in Hartsville, people that I have known for a long time. We all get our priorties out of order from time to time. Lets all be friends and enjoy the game.

Don't forget 4 and 5. There are lots of good 1A teams out there this year scattered around the whole state. No doubt Trousdale is one of them but not the only one. I think it could be anyone of several that could end up winning the state and no one can say which with any certainty at the present time.

Basin played hard the whole game. They did their best and were good sports.

I think you might ought worry about the Buchs this year. It seems Healys and Akins are hard to come by. Even Jasper has run out of players to send yall. As for SP, they will be just fine. Them big old boys tongues will be hanging out before the half.

That's right. Goodpasture and Lipscomb even Boyd the last 3 years could have done real well against those teams and everyone but you will admit it. I have a feeling you know it too. that's the reason you stay on the defensive so bad. I haven't said anything about their ability just about them manipulating the classes to avoid the privates. This is my last post on this subject. Trousdale ran from the privates after CPA won the state and came back when they left. They also jumped Goodpasture and Lipscomb. It's easier on a 1A's school's pride to lose to 3A schools than to 1A schools. This is the truth and everyone knows it. Not that anything was wrong with it . I'm sure several more 1a schools wish they had thought of it. What's wrong is denying it .

Sure they should be in 1A. They also should have been in it the last 5 years with the privates also but I didn't see um. But soon as they leave Trousdale magically reappears.

I guess they would spank Riverdale too. If they could hang so well in 3A why didn't they stay since they they said the gates were so large? They would be taking in a lot more money. There's plenty of 1A schools that can beat 5A schools it just depends on the school. In 2003 Grundy ran over trousdale and SP ran over Grundy. Then Boyd ran over SP. But to let Trousdale tell it they could have walked all over the private 1A schools while they were in 3A. BULL! Trousdale hasn't done anything sice 1998. The next year SP beat them then CPA ran um out of 1A and up to 3A. Now they come sneaking back after CPA, Boyd and DCA leaves.
