Jet, the refs always do give you guys calls in all sports when we go there. It's a well known fact. I do give it to your program. Ya'll typically have a physical team that always seems to put up a fight, despite their lack of talent. About your crowd noise, the only loud thing I heard at last years game was the thunder and lightning storm which caused a game delay. You guys then were able to bounce back from your distastrous start and upset us. I didn't even see a student section. So, are you coming to the game down here Friday. If so, your more than welcome to come by before the game, I hear our students will be tailgating once again this year. We'd love to show you a good time and how a fan base acts.

i'm coverin for my jets...ok how bout this...i'll admit be4 i got in2 high school we didn't have a team worth fielding...but now we do and we don't get respect when we have played yall toe 2 toe 4 2 friggin yrs...it's gonna be another classic the team whose defense shows up and mks the least mistakes will win...bottom line!!! there is no clear cut favorite...very evenly matched!!! end o story!!!

Hey Jet2 Cumberland got lucky last year, you wont have the refs the give you the calls that you need to help you win, and the terrible refs you had last year wont be able to throw players out of the game to help you win either.. That game was a once in a lifetime thing.. If had been another game  we would as (Tonymontana said) LAID THE SMACK DOWN on your team.. You can say what ever but you and I and everybody else knows that is true, whether you choose to admit it or not.. I predict Mcminn will win 21 to 10.. We will see if that so called " insane" crowd shows up Friday.. DOUT IT!!

Gimme3 thanks for the correction on Stansell, but it does not matter what # he wears I think they should throw the ball his way more because he is one of the best athletes on this team and he can make things happen.

Now Jet2 my wisdom comes from my insight into the McMinn program and pure speculation about the Jets and the simple fact we are playing in Athens. What kind of a crowd will Cumberland bring?

Muffin where does your un- found wisdom come from in reference to your predication? Sure this has been a competitive game the past two years with the home team winning both games. My predication is McMinn by 13, the Tribe has too many offensive threats as long as the O-line can provide time for them to develop. Should be a good game and close deep into the forth quarter until McMinn seperates itself with a late bomp from Carr #10 to Stansell #18. Friday can not get here quick enough for this high school football junkie.

Wooohooo HS football time in Tennessee again...who will win this battle? The last 2 yrs have been classics, McMinn wins on a 52 yd FG in '02, and CC's 2nd half comeback in '03!!!! It's a toss up if you ask me....

Scot Winningham (1B) will be replaced by Dalton Bell or Bryan Jones depending on if one of them is pitching......Willie Patton (SS) looks to be replaced by Jordan Reagan.....Jake Burnett (3B/2B) those positions look to be up for grabs by about 4 players.

Jet2, I have to hand it to ya your team does have a really nice pitching staff that will give you guys a winning season, but I dont agree with you saying your the best in the district and region. EaglesPitcher23, the reason im saying that rhea doesn't deserve any love is because the truth is you dont deserve any. Year in and year out you have a great group of ballplayers, but you end up last in the district! You did win the region my freshman year, but it was a fluke its not likely to happen again anytime soon. I hope you dont get mad at this post, but I have to give you my honest opinion on what I have seen the past 4 years.

Rhea deserves no love, but I will hand it to ya- Cumberland deserves some. I believe they will have a good team this year and will turn some heads this year in District 5AAA. I dont think they lost anyone- does anyone have any info if they did or not?

We just lost 3 players and return the whole pitching staff, and a very deep one at that we have 4 pitchers that could start on any given monday or tuesday and be successful. Also return the whole outfield, which is shaping up to be the best in the district and maybe even the region.

They're on this public image kick ..... to be honest we are very loud, but we dont use vulgarity and stuff. We've been crazy for years and now they make us shape up, when our team has a chance of going somewhere. CLASSIC CUMBERLAND COUNTY!

If the JETS play like they can they will beat Cleveland by 10 ....... i'm interested to see the matchup between Charles Little and Cody Christopher. But the gym wont be as crazy as past games because the administration wont allow it, so not as great of a home-court advantage as usual.
