FRA was down on the other end and with a beautiful cross and a great move by the FRA player as she buries the ball in the back of the net (someone help me here with who scored).
The cross was from Tory Pitts, the goal was by Lyndsey Almon.
It was a great game, played by two very good teams. Best of luck to Notre Dame in the rest of the tournament.

I can't speak to whether she will play or not, but I was at the game, and the word in the stands was that she had broken a rib.
That was the same word in the stands in August on Fritsl Butler. Surely she has healed by now.

Personally, CCS has an incredible field. It is a great venue for players. For fans, it would be nice to have more seating, as there are seating issues when playing against the home team. Home field has not seemed to be an advantage.
I am very excited to see the tournament stay in Chattanooga.

No surprise here. We may compete on the field but no one on our side would want anyone on any side hurt, regardless. Afterall, it is just a game. Best of luck with your team for next year. I'm sure you'll be ready for us, as usual. Again, best of luck to your Ms. Waters!
Ditto from another FRA fan. We have a ton of respect for the CCS program. May God Bless Ms. Water with a very speedy recovery.

It is very rough on the knees! Causes really bad burns! But, I will take the burns over what they played on in the finals last year!

FRA will be victorious
"I have chanded my mind a little. FRA gets drilled in this one, 4-O. Panthers will be outcoached and outclassed all over the pitch." from another post by 'booya23'
My, how we have changed our minds! We appreciate your support.

shots were even 16-14 fra
I am not sure what paper you were reading, but according to The Tennessean, FRA had 3 saves. I was at the game and there were not 14 shots put on frame by CCS. Three is more realistic. CCS has a great soccer program, today was just not their day.

looks like they paid the refs the why there coach was talking to the refs at the half
notre dame is very dirty team they were using elbows and high kicks all game long and refs did nothing about it
What makes you think that they paid the refs off? Are Coaches not allowed to speak to the refs? If not, they are usually carded for any comments. Notre Dame is not a "dirty" team. Elbows are just a part of soccer. High kicks are questionable. Was this game not played at White House, home team advantage?

Brentwood wins 1-0. Congrats Brentwood.

any predictions?
Supposedly, FRA had a couple of injuries before the Centennial game and an illness also. Don't know if they will be back or not. Could be interesting.

Kate Woodard, FRA's starting keeper, was injured on August 13. She was released from the hospital on August 31, I think. She started attending a couple of classes a day last week. This week, she is trying to go to school half days. Overall, she is doing OK. She has lost a lot of weight and is trying to get back to a normal routine.
-
Please continue to pray for Kate for a full recovery. She is still in the hospital, but recovering at a good rate.

Kate got out of surgery around 12:30 AM today. The surgery was a success. She is back in her room. She was alert this moring and talking. Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery.
-
correction: kate is going into surgery tonight. it is a 4 hour procedure. she should be out by around midnight. please continue to pray for Kate and her recovery.
-
Kate Woodard, FRA's keeper, was severely injured on Saturday in a pre-season game against Franklin High School. It is likely that she will have surgery in the morning to repair damage to her pancreas. Please keep Kate, her family and her surgeons in your prayers.

Looking for some information on middle school teams in the mid state area. Am considering starting a program in the Sumner Co area but don't know who else plays. I'm guessing some of the privates have teams...Goodpasture, Davidson maybe.
Is the skill level very good? or do they have kids just getting started?
Tell me what you know.
Much appreciated.
The skill level goes along with the size of the school. Woodland, Grassland, Freedom, MBA are all pretty good. The more average teams are CPA, FRA, DCA, Goodpasture, Ezell, etc. But, all of these schools do have Middle School programs for boys and girls.

Yes, Tory does play for Stones River. I don't think Lyndsey has made a decision regarding college.
