based on what i watched friday and saturday............gibson is 10 points better at least. westview kids havent gotten any better over the summer, while gibson kids have improved. early line for first game is gibson by 15.........

Good luck to the reigning West TN player of the year........UTM now has the tools to be OVC contenders next year. She will be a difference maker at the next level and an awesome person as well.

GC's press will have an effect on the average and slightly above average team. The elite teams with true experienced PG's will do just as Marshall County did to GC last year, have a layup practice drill. It happens every year in the boro. You must play great 1/2 court D, rebound and be able to finish after executing a 1/2 court offense. The elite teams do not give up easy baskets, win the battle of the boards, do not make silly fouls, eliminate turnovers and can score by having go to players inside and out. Most of the time the winner of the tourney has at least 1 if not 2 division I players.

Gleason would say different to what? What does Gleason have to do with this game? Has Gibson played Gleason? The Holmes girl looked to do mighty fine against Gibson's inside the last 2 years. Add that other rebounding machine Chester has, and I'd say their post game isn't too bad. Regardless, Chester will either win or lose and will only get better by playing one of the toughest schedules in the state.
CC's first 6 games: Dyersburg, Gleason, Westview, Dyer Co., Hardin Co., Gibson Co. (where are the cupcakes...there are none!!!!)

Nice post.....their first 6 games are brutal and only making them ready for tournament play. Coach P knows what she's doing....

Yes thank you i realize that. But when i think of middle tennessee i think of davidson county and the surrounding 10 counties or so
If anybody from Davidson County makes it to the 'boro in AA, then it is a fluke.....

if chester county play good denfense they very well couid win this game they have a lots of talent on there team
Game will be closer than some think, but Gibson County will win by 7-10 points.....Chester County's remaining 4 are just too weak for GC....

They will probably win it all....I could see that. The only thing is that they haven't made it out of the region in a LONG, LONG TIME so no one over there (coach included) has ever been past the region tournament, I wonder if they might lack the experience and leadership...... I guess they are due......

I would like to see RBS go to CHS and come home with a win but I don't see that happening as far as beating CLAY at home I would not use that as in measuring how good the RBS DAWGS are the CLAY girls are really struggling and playing without passion for the game. just as the RBS boys are. hopefully these two team can get there season turned around and be that treat that they usually are in district. LETS GO BIG RED PROVE ME WRONG.

Hey Matador, I dont think Gleason or any of the other west tennessee single A pwerhouses fear Jackson Co. I would be willing to bet that they have a tougher time in single A than in AA when it comes state tournament time. So I seriously doubt that Gleason,FRA,Dresden,Trenton,SouthFulton,Clarkrange or any of the power houses fear any 2A school. It is gonna be fun as a fan to sit back and watch this good competition. Good luck to all the teams in all classes the rest of the season.
I promise you they won't have a tougher time in single A.....they are already adding on to their trophy case to make room for more gold balls.....
