  1. cry me a river. baylor knew the whole season that this could have happened it has happened in the state tournament before. it is too bad that they cramped but they could have prepared better for it. i would like to say congratgulations to mccallie who won their first state title in 12 years. well done guys. better luck next year to baylor...enough whinning flaming. don't take it from mccallie

  2. 2003...mccallie beat MBA 7-2 in the regular season they drew mus in the state semis. that match lasted three hours and mus won. then immediately they had to return to the court to play a finals match vs. mba who beat baylor in an hour...mba beat mus. when MUS was definitely the stronger team and mba was weaker than mccallie too

  3. top three teams in no particular order

    baylor

    mccallie

    mus..

it will be those three teams to beat in state

the flip of the coin matters a great deal with the semi's and finals being played on the same day

    lets just see the match-ups

    mccallie v. baylor

    1. ramsay v. seal, 1-1 this year

    2. ismail v. onken, onken leads 2-0

    3. nelson v. kane, kane leads 2-1

    4. pare v. laurenco, tied 1-1

    5. henry v. gammon or epps, henry leads both

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

    baylor v. mus

    1. seal v. lang, seal leads 1-0

    2. onken v. heflin, heflin leads 1-0

    3. kane v. george, have not played

    4. laurenco v. addington, have not played

    5. gammon or epps v. wills, gammon defeated wills at the carter

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

    mus v. mccallie

    1. lang v. ramsay, have not played

    2. heflin v. ismail, heflin leads 1-0

    3. nelson v. george, nelson leads 1-0

    4. pare v. addington, have not played

    5. henry v. wills, have not played

LOOKS LIKE THAT COMES DOWN TO DOUBLES

Looks to me like two teams could play a four hour long semifinal match and the other could play an hour long semifinal match. it is very unfortunate that the flip of a coin could determine the state champion in DII tennis. three competitive teams in the state playing two tough matches in one day in may in the 'boro...Now let's get some opinions on that.......................

  4. Coach at home...john hannah is not god. just because he played in the NFL doesn't mean he can coach football.. he might be able to teach linemen the techniques of performing at a high level, but he can't coach the whole team...look at how well he did as the "developer" this year of the football program... and especially look at how well he did at his previous schools and the assault charges he had while he was at those schools...he was the answer baylor was looking for...NOT...austin clark had every right to look outward for a new coach after firing bibee..who took them to the state semi-finals..even after he lost to mccallie...DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB...as a mccallie fan i am sorry to see this happening at baylor

  5. Coach at Home...you are a coach at home for a reason...stay at home. be a parent.. don't join coacht to talk about something that just interests you...you are a baylor parent so get off of coacht and just support your school..get a life and support don't just give money....

  6. sanchez...your first two statements are correct but your third is not. i don't know where anyone would come up with the idea that mccallie has a player from zimbabwe.. mark fynn graduated three years ago and imran graduated years before that...those are the only two kids mccallie has had from zimbabwe..

its not like they need any extra help anyways
