Macon Co is 2-0 with a sloppy win over westmoreland 4-2 and a win over livingston 12-5.

Who threw for both teams?

Yeah they should be real competitive this year and contend for the 8AA district championship, but the only thing is that they are playing in the toughest district in the state where there are about 6 teams that are contenders for the district championship.

Macon Co. opens with Westmoreland. We have had 4 scrimmages and won 3 of them. We lost to White House 6-5 after 7 innings when we pulled our starters.

Your right he was not recruited. And yea i also think he will be the best all around athlete in rbs.

I would say 4 would get you by. Maybe 5 if you play a lot of games inthe tournaments. In high School you can pitch on 3 days rest.

I agree w/ tg jay hudson has to be one of the best in the state. Even if he wasnt i would have to say he was cause im the one that doctors up his fungo. But he is one of the best in the stgate though.

Whoa now im going to have to disagree with you. They did not have a thing to do with Newberry coming up here. Coach Taylor wasnt even a coach then and i dont think coach Hudson was either i think he started coaching our freshmen year. We All was the ones trying to get Newberry to come up here during the babe ruth all-stars.

Macon Co. has 2 assistant coaches that are as dedicated as it gets for assistant coaches. There names are Jason Hudson and Will Taylor. I would almost bet anything they stay at the baseball field more than any other assistyant coaches in the state probably more than most head coaches. They pretty much live there. Coach Hudson stays there prbably 10 times more than he stays at his house. He has been know to stay up there for 12 straight hours in 2 consecutive days. Coach Taylor is not far behind. During the week he is up there as much but he has to work on the weekend so that cuts out some time, but most of the time as soon as he gets off work he will be out there at the field. Whoo Whoo Baby!

The cookeville scrimmage will not be played anymore because the two coaches could not work out a time where they both were free.

After seven innings we was losing 6-5. We ended playing 9 but put all the subs and it ended up 8-5 but after the seven innings when both teams still had their starters they beat us by 1. They were a very good team and had done scrimmaged 3 times and that was our first so it was a good expeirence for us but i look for white house to have a real goo year this year.

Yeah uthater we scrimmage white house sunday at 2:30. They are always a good team with a good program it should be a good test for us this year. We beat them in a scrimmage last year but i dont think they lost very much so they should be real tought this year in my opinion. So maybe we can play good because like i said they will be tough.

OK baller i agree with contact, yeah station camp did beat us but it was on senior week which i know is no excuse. we still should have beat them but like westmoreland we played the worst game of the season against them without our seniors and still almost won but yeah i agree that aint too good losing to a 1st year school. But if we was so bad last year i wonder how we beat the district champs which ended up going to the state tournament. I dont believe a bad team could beat a team like that.

It is hard to say who the one toughest team is in this district with macon mlk lipscomb portland greenbrier springfield and humefogg station camp and east lit. About 5 or 6 of those teams could beat any of the others on any given day.

Well i caugh hudson this summer. He came up to Macon Co. and played. I dont know how any of the other pitchers are in that district but just going on what i know he can do i would have to say he is the best in the district. he throws hard and has a lot of good junk. That makes a tough combination.

Yeah we are ready dog. All of the sports try to work with each other up here. Coach Deering was wanting to reschedule it and was planning on it but never could get a time worked out. Yeah i was a little disappointed because it got cancelled but it wouldnt nothing we could do about it. It was just one of those things that had to be done. Well it didnt have to be but it was the right thing.

I dont know how everyone is over looking Macon County's field unless you just havent seen it. The playing field itself is one of the best if not the best in the state. The field won field of the year a few years ago. And to go along with that we have improved our facilities a whole lot over this past year by adding a 3 cage indoor hitting/pitching facilitie that also has a coaches office weight lifting area and a team area where we can play cards and watch tv and stuff. Overall it has to rank in the top 5 in the state if not the best one in the entire state.

yeah i agree tnathletic mlk is a solid team and this is coming from a player form macon co. which we have played them 6 times in the last 2 years and i agree i kno they are solid form playing them that many times. But i did not know moffit threw upper 80s? This summer at white houses wood bat tournament we clocked him at 80 consistently. im not knocking him at all.He is a great pitcher but i was just wondering if he had gained a lot since the summer? or if that game his arm was just hurting or something? Because if he is int he upper 80s now then he is going to be even tougher than last last year.

Im going with rbs is this one. I just think they have a lot of talent. i pick them to win the district.
