I read in the paper that he had a little brush with the law and ended up in the county jail last weekend. The story said he's 18, so he'll be treated like an adult in this situation. Did he play this week?

2 FACTS that affect the legitimacy of the argument Indian and few other guys are trying to make....
1. Tennessee produces a very small quantity of high D-1 calibar players compared to states like CA, GA, FL, TX, LA, AL, OH, & PA.
2. It is not in UT's best interest to offer a scholarship to every Tennessee high school senior that is capable of playing at the D-1 level. Obviously they have a finite amount of scholarships and they have to distribute those according to their needs.

Bo Hardegree Jr., I mean Cade Thompson could not contribute at UT. You lost all credibility by throwing his name out there!

Look, I'm sure I'm older than you because this board is mainly for high school kids. But my displeasure in Tullahoma goes beyond the football field. The fact that Manchester city and Coffee County approved a Metro Charter a while back while Tullahoma city residents rejected it is proof to me that Tullahoma is unwilling to work with Manchester or the county to form a government where there is an even distribution of wealth and fair treatment to all residents of Coffee County.
The metro government would bring Tullahoma down in terms of education and quality of life. It would help the rest of the county to some extent due to the large tax base located in Tullahoma. A small portion of the population would be paying the bulk of the taxes. I don't know if that is what you are looking for, but that is the reason the citizens of Tullahoma are against it if you don't understand that. It will never happen. Also, I am very interested in hearing your thoughts on what you believe is an "even distribution of wealth."

What?
SemperFiBlue=simple redneck from Manchester, very typical

They will be a big challenge for Tullahoma but certainly a winnable game for the 'Cats. I think this game will go a long way toward deciding who gets the 4th playoff spot in 5-4A.

Tullahoma’s multifaceted dominance over Manchester extends to the football field once again this year. The redneck hype machine coming out of Manchester proves to be full of nothing but hot air once again. THS may be down a little this season, but they are still better than one of Coffee County's best teams in years.
Some stats for everyone:
*Tullahoma leads the all-time series 51-28
*Tullahoma has now won 13 of the last 15 meetings
*'nuff said

how long is left in this game?

This is a great year for in-state football talent. I think they may end up signing about 10 Tennessee high school players this year. UT certainly couldn't afford to sign that many on a normal year and expect to compete at the level everyone is used to.
