ASA Pre-Season Friendly in Chattanooga, May 28th-29th
I hate for the first time my girls step on the field together for the summer to be in a Qualifier. I also don't like to commit to a full-scale, crown a champion tournament the weekend of the Tennessee High School State Tournament.
We've put this Friendly together so the 16U and 18U teams can get a few games in before the ASA Qualifier the next weekend.
The format is basically like setting up practice games at Nationals. You let us know what days and times are good for your team, and we'll set up the games for you.
Contact me at jhigdon2003@yahoo.com to get signed up for games.
Thanks,
Jeremy Higdon

well lets see here...gps lost their number 1 pitcher, their lead off batter that did most of the work in the line up, and a few other seniors. and as of last year thier number 2 pitcher wasn't much punkin. baylor didn't lose much either, they are def. beating them this year.
Catlady10, I assume you're an adult...Did you really get on a public forum message board, anonymously, and say that a 15 year old kid "wasn't much"? Please edit your post.

The Fury Fastpitch Organization will field two 16U teams and one 18U team for 2010/2011. There will no longer be a Fury Fastpitch team based out of Nashville, both 16U teams will be based out of Chattanooga, as well as the 18U team. Bill Cartwright will join the coaching staff of the 16U Fury-Higdon.
We will still host a tryout at Goodpasture High School, August 29th at 2 pm. This tryout will be for the 16U and 18U teams. Players are welcome to attend either or both tryouts.

Due the unbelievable weather we had in Chattanooga last week, we were forced to reschedule our Scenic City 16's Fall Tournament and Skills Showcase for November 6-8.
All of the teams that were registered for the original date have their spots reserved for the new date, and we are re-opening registration for the next several weeks.
Based on the response over the past 3 days, since we rescheduled, from College Coaches and Travel Teams the tournament is actually going to be stronger and better-attended.
We can only allow 35 teams for the tournament and we think we'll go to a Waiting List before the week is over.
Please visit the link below for all the information you'll need.

I have not intentionally ignored any emails. I apologize.
I am posting information as it is appropriate to make available. I hope you'll accept my apologies for any communication problem.
We're looking forward to a great tournament.

We have had some requests to extend our registration deadline in order for teams to have their team meetings, get team fees, etc.
This Friday, September 4th, is the new deadline. If you'd like to participate in the Scenic City 16's Fall Tournament and Skills Showcase, September 18-20, please follow the link below to the Online Registration Page.
Thank You.

We are so pleased to have Bill Cartwright as part of the Fury Fastpitch Organization. We have always felt that the strength of our organization relies solely on the coaches, parents, and players that help make it happen.
Bill is an experienced, knowledgeable coach, of great character, that understands fastpitch at a high level.
If you are interested in committing to your future in fastpitch and maximizing your recruiting experience going forward, we encourage you to take advantage of the tryout this weekend.
With over 50 former players that have gone on to play at the collegiate level, we look forward to that number growing every year.
Again, we are pleased to have Coach Cartwright representing the Fury Fastpitch Organization and look forward to great things to come.
