Slatten forced to resign or lose teaching job to. White Co. runs off one of

their own and keeps Hess who lives in Cookeville. Sad day for White Co.

Material slim and following Whited to much to bear. Sad because some

good talent on the way. Like to have seen Slatten have a chance with

some better material. His players this year played as good as they could

and were competitive most of the time.

Any update on Hacker ??? Our prayers are with her.

Hess's record against good teams is pitiful. He has had the talent even without

all the players that have left. Ask the girls that were on this team how they enjoyed playing for Hess, especially the seniors. White Co. has gone through

this stuff long enough. Players that don't like the coach will not put out their

best effort. By the way. Has Sparta girls ever been embarassed with a 41

point loss ?

Hess should be gone with all the girls that have quit in his coaching stint at

White Co. Two starters were missing from last years team. Talking about

getting rid of the boys coach who is a home town boy. and done a pretty

job considering the material. The girls have been loaded with material since

Hess came on the scene. His record looks good on paper, most victories

were against weak teams. He also lives in Cookeville, has no social life in

Sparta at all. Haley needs to wake up.

Nobody will come within single digits of Shelbyville. Remember you heard it

first from benchcoach. Agree with other posts tourney is weak.

White Co. will have the best talent again !!! We won the district this year with

two starters quitting. Hacker would have been our leading scorer if Hess would

have gave her playing time. What a waste of talent !!!!! Understand Hess is

trying to get a boys job. Good luck.

I'll take anybody that will live in White Co. and have some rapport with the fans

and citizens of Sparta. Something needs to be done now !!!!

Been watching Hess team for four years and we can't get the ball inbounds.

I have never seen a team struggle with that one play so much. We don't seem

to know how to screen. Worst defeat for White Co. that i have ever seen. Four

out of last five games we lost by 19, 16, 11, and 41!!!! White Co. deserves

better !!!!! Way to much talent for the results. Coach of the year should have

been Choke of the Year !!!! Our fans won't support him as you could see by

our district and region crowds. Something needs to be done !!!!

Coach Hess coach of the year!!!! What a joke!!!! Should have been choke of

the year. Never seen a team erode so fast. Embarassing for the fans of White

Co. to watch. Talent being wasted!!!!!

What a coaching job by Hess in this one. White Co. starts out good, then he subs

after 2 min and 45 seconds and we never got back in the game. Best players were

on the bench most of the game. Played very little defense. I just don't understand it. Same old stuff, talent being wasted. It's a joke for this team to get beat that

bad.

Warriorette mom. I believe my opinion is as good as yours. I respect yours,

please respect mine. Hess has hurt our program since he started. Numerous

players have left our team since he's been here. Hacker and King the latest.

I pull for our girls as hard as you do, but I will never respect Hess. There are

some horror stories that you don't know about,

If White Co. wins a game in the district , it will be a big upset. The game at

Oakland was a wonderful win, but it was a big upset. Their talent level is

much better than ours. White Co. man all the way. But get real. These boys

are playing about as good as they can play. Like it or not, Slatten deserves

some of the credit.

At least he would spend his money in White Co. and live here. Knows more

about the game for sure.

90 Warrior, who in our district can beat Shelbyville ? 8AAA and 7AAA is as weak

as i have ever seen it. Shelbyville stands alone. If White Co. can win the district,

which they should at home, they could possibly make it to the state because it

puts them in different bracket than Shelbyville. White Co. is my team all the

way, but in our region, Shelbyville stands alone. Don't forget Fuller is back.

Lebanon and all the Mufressboro schools are better than we are. Our upset

of Oakland was amazing. Our boys have improved since last year, but our

talent is not close to these teams i mentioned. Anyone that is not blind to

the situation knows there is a big talent difference. Slatten isn't our only

problem for not winning. Get real !!!!!

We fouled Hayes three times after the 3 point shoot. Get in the game. Hess

can't coach and he has been loaded the last three years. Everybody's on

Slatten all the time and we should be worried about Hess. Hess has had the

talent and Slatten has had very little. White Co. deserves better.

White Co. should have won handily. If it's a close game, our coach won't let

us win. Been watching 4 years and we still can't get the ball inbounds. We

also foul their best foul shooter and she makes 6 in a row. Talent is being

wasted.

District 7AAA is as weak as i have ever seen it. White Co. is by far the best

team in our district even missing two starters that quit since last year. 8AAA

with the exception of Shelbyville is empty. White Co. and Shelbyville should

make it to the sub-state.

White Co. girls made a great comeback last night. Called timeout with 42

seconds behind by 2. Came out and was trying to go for the last shot. I

don't know what he was thinking. Cookeville girls were shook, time to attack.

Should have pressured fullcourt like wedid for last two minutes. Sparta girls

and fans deserve better. Same old stuff.

I would be Hess's first customer if he starts selling real estate.

White Co. has better talent than all the teams that we have played. 16 & 4

means nothing if you have all the fun of winning gone. Put back Hacker and

King back on the team and noboby beats us.

Any girl that can play for a coach that screams the whole game like a mad

man has got to be pretty tough or deaf. Our fans don't even get into the game

for that reason. Close game last night towards the end, and you could hear a

pin drop in the gym. Ever wonder why? Most fans are sick of the screaming

and hollaring. Embarassing to most fans. Girls deserve better.

Been around ball all my life. Never seen 8aaa and 7 aaa so weak. Shelbyville

with Fuller best team in districts by far. Winning twenty games does not make

a good team. As a whole girls basketball in the state is down. Just one of those

years.

District 7AAA as weak as i have ever seen it. White Co. should't have any

trouble with Riverdale. Talent level not even close.
