It appears that Bradley is stealing one of Walker Valley's best wrestlers - Tanner Johnson. I guess T$$AA will decide if it is legal.

What should WV do if Bradley is successful in recruiting one of their best wrestlers?

WV should;

1. drop Bradley from their schedule forever

2. refuse to enter any tournamnet in which Bradley is a participant (except state)

3. attempt to get tournament organizers to drop Bradley so that WV can participate

I am sure Bradley would not do anything illegal. But, is it wrong for them to steal a competing programs best wrestler?

If it is wrong for Cody Cleveland to go from Tullahoma to McCallie, isn't it also wrong for Tanner Johnson to go from WV to Bradley?

The question still has not been answered. How can Tanner Johnson transfer from Walker Valley to Bradley without sitting out a year?

I do not know. I have only heard about School B. It would make sense to allow School C and D the same privileges as School B because the kids are in the same situation.

My understanding is, most counties will allow a student to attend school A and play a sport at school B, if that sport is not offered at school A. It may required some paperwork to make it a "joint" program like Mumford and Brighton. Some counties allow home-schooled kids to participate in school activites even though they do not attend the school.

Providing the champion a poster board bracket is a wrestling tradition as old as the hills. These become family airlooms! It "proves" the old man beat Atilla to win the county tournament way back when. It should be part of your package.

I'll gland that that Tanner has good friends at Bradley. It has noting to do with zoning.

Is he zoned for Walker Valley or Bradley? When your school does not offer a sport, you are allowed to join the program at another school. Now that WV has wrestling, why would he be allowed to transfer to Bradley?

Are any of the kids on the Bradley roster zoned for WV or for Cleveland HS?

On another thread, it is reported the Logsdon is returning to Bradley. As part of the package, it is reported that Tanner Johnson is transferring, or has already transferred, back to Bradley from Walker Valley. Is this true?

If this is true, is it illegal recruitment? If it is illegal recruitment, should Bradley get the “death penalty”?

Was Tanner Johnson illegally recruited by Logsdon back to Bradley?

Last season, Forte of Ryan bit Simpson of MBA at the State Duals. He was DQ'ed (see tssaa.org for 112 lbs). Forte wrestled in the state individuals. Why?

Do we really need the TSAA to protect the kids from their PARENTS? That is an insult to every parent of a wrestler in Tenn.

When will the all state team be posted on TNLAX?

The scorekeepers did not agree on the FO stats in the Farragut game. Farragut had it 11-11 and McCallie had it 14-8 McCallie.

Coaches do not always agree on face off stats. In the April McCallie - MUS game, the McCallie coaches had McCallie ahead 15-8 on FO while the MUS coaches had McCallie ahead 11-10.
