District 5-AAA Girls have dominated the region for awhile now. Except for a couple of years ago with Brainerd, the 6-AAA girls have really been a weak district.

when scouting I usually sit as high as I can. I want to be by myself or wih 1 other person who is there to help me. I can see the whole floor and I am interested in the movement of everyone, not just one person. I concentrate better away from all the noise also. Behind the bench ,TACKY!
I sit directly behind the bench in most cases. Knowing a coaches tendenies is important in close tournament games. Of course, when you coach, your job is on the line all the time so you do whatever you can to give your team the upper hand. Having you team prepared is the main focus of all scouts. When I sit up high, I get easily distracted. When I'm down close, it's like I'm a part of the team and I can absorb everything the coach is saying. Would you want your child sitting in the back of a class or the front?

I would guess I'm the squirrel due to my salary of 38,000 plus. I'd have to say though that your so called "nuts" are people that take shots at others on a message board because they are too afraid to approach them in person. I've had fun with you, but I think it's time I move on, of course I know that you won't! Your negativity towards everything is getting extremely old!

First of all it is Smiddy! Know the man's name before your start talking about his reactions. The 99-00 team got fourth in district and went on to play in the state-semifinals. All you parents think about is winning! What's the first thing you ask your child or a player after a game....Did you win? How about you say "Do you fell like you played to your fullest potential today?" Bradley is under a new coach with a great philosophy. He has players playing at all levels of college. Give the man time and I'm sure that things will change. Whether it be winning or parents giving him the ax. And by the way BBall5 and atn...I've got a teaching and coaching job now so obviously someone believes in me...you guys just keep roasting people from behind your keyboard. Good Luck Bearettes! You guys are 0-0! Make some noise!

Hey atn301! Glad to see you back roasting me. You parents are all the same! I can't help it if your daughter is not good enough to sit on the varsity bench. Maybe you should look in the mirror if you want to figure out why your child isn't the kind of player you want them to be! I'm not in Tennessee anymore, so I guess you'll have to take out your short comings in life on somebody esle!

Just so all of ya'll can get a perception of how good MJ is.....Lake City, Florida, a team MJ beat by 27 up in the NationsBank Ladies Classic by 27, is 27-1 entering the State Quarterfinals in Florida's largest classification (6A)!

#1 Brainerd (7-0)
#2 Ooltewah (5-3)
#3 Red Bank (4-4)
#4 Soddy-Daisy (2-5)
#5 Chattanooga Central (1-7)
Friday's game of Soddy-Daisy versus Brainerd has no bearing on the pairings.
Tournament at Brainerd starting Monday February 21st:
Central vs. Soddy-Daisy in an elimination game.
Brainerd vs. (winner of Central and Soddy-Daisy)
Red Bank vs. Ooltewah

LA will get 3rd in districts.

The last test before the tournament! Mt. Juliet by 17!

Pickel has scored over 30 points in the last two games. Can she do it against Cleveland Friday. If she does and Jackson gets her 20 plus they win. I think that they are looking better every game so my bet is on the Bearettes. I know they look alot better in there uniforms if that counts for anything.
Pickel had 36 and Jackson had 25 last Friday night and they lost to McMinn by 10.

Walker Valley Walker Valley Walker Valley... Just because you have a little taste of success does not mean that you are going to win state or even make state...Every year now one of the athletic teams there wins region or district ( but seriously who couldnt? With the talent in Cleveland they should win playing the teams they play) and they go crazy...Just because you run through your area does not mean your too good... Now if you were in Memphis or Middle TN then maybe you could brag a little, but lets be for real...Look at who you are playing against and the teams that your being successful against...The AAA teams you have beaten this year has not been very good...Who doesn't beat the Chattanooga Area teams? The record of the opposing teams that WV has played is 195-157...Thats not too good when your schedule rank is 62nd occording to Coacht...So right now is it really worth bragging about when your beating up on teams that cant play? I will be VERY SURPRISED if WV WINS state, but I will be even MORE SURPRISED if they dont get there because if they are as good as WV people make them, then they should have no trouble getting to state...
If they get past Upperman (perhaps) or David Lipscomb in the sub-state...a run through state may be a realistic occurence.

It's a really small airport that is usually for personnel aircraft only. Your best bet would be to fly into Chattanooga, take Highway 153 to I-75 (4 miles). Take I-75 north to Exit 25 (28 miles). Once you get off the exit, take a left at the first light. After about a mile and a quarter, take a left and that takes you to Cleveland State. The gym is a .1 of a mile on your left.
