The decision should be left in the hands of the coach that is giving the whipping. Changing the rules is really not an option. You would figure that the TSSAA would adopt a shot clock, but that hasn't happened yet. Interesting subject though!
-
You might want to look into coaching! That is a great assessment! I here the Top Gun program is looking for coaches!
-
They just want to be ready! You ought to be thankful that your coaches are scouting! Dade County is my pick for the Chattanooga Area! Houts is really fun to watch. She locked down Cait McMahon in the 16 and under Nationals.

They play two different positions...Beechboard would have been really nice, but I think the Lady Mocs will be alright without her.
-
What a deal! What a steal! Belmont has pretty much secured a superstar in the making in the post! I bet alot of other A-Sun Conference coaches are cringing!
-
Are they playing in any scrimmages or play days this week or weekend?
-
When Lynn Burkey brings his Lady GreenE Devils to Cleveland everyone gets educated. Expect the girls in green to give a bball clinic as always. Lyons and Manuel are so much fun to watch you all will forget your gettin' whipped.
So is that a prediction..cause that is pretty bold!

AAA Top Ten:
1) Mt. Juliet - Alysha Clark is a machine and if you double down, the guards are going to shoot you down.
2) Greeneville - Coaching, inside presence, outside presence! They have it all!
3) Craigmont - Proved themselves last year by advancing to the AAA finals. Can they make a return?
4) Columbia - Everybody back from a state tournament run! Moore is a defensive stopper.
5) Cleveland - Brett, Radar, Rogers, Burnett have proven themselves in the regular season, can they get past sub-state before their final high school run is over?
6) Wilson Central - They always look good, they will go to state!
7) Jackson North Side - Loaded from top to bottom...they'll battle Craigmont for West Tennessee supermacy
8) Heritage - Can one girl carry a team...Pat Summit thinks so!
9) Powell - Ogan is a load in the middle and that is where all the easy baskets are!
10) Shelbyville - They can be anywhere in this poll with the coaching and comraderie that the program has produced. Only time will tell!
All the other AAA teams are #11...anybody can get hot and go somewhere with nothing...just as Coach Moore at Columbia!
I think that everybody is chasing Mt. Juliet, Greeneville, and Craigmont! It's going to be a great season! Can't wait for practice to start!

After watching Shelbyville just destroy Columbia in the district and region tournaments last year, I'm going to really say that it is a toss up. The district looks really balanced this year. The region picture looks even better!

Cheatham Co., Jackson Co., Livingston will be strong, Upperman, Smith Co, Brandi Brown...ooppss I mean York, Hume Fogg will be very hard to beat, Walker Valley.
1. Smith County - 7AA
3. Cheatham Co.
4. Upperman -7AA
5. Hume Fogg
6. Jackson Co. - 7AA
7. Livingston - 7AA
8. York - 7AA
Odds look good for 7AA to bring it home again.
Odds are that you are biased!

Powell's Prime Time Player verbally commits to UTC! Ogan looks to revitalize the post as Chattanooga loses two in the front court after the 2004-2005 campaign, Patton and Sermons! She is the third committment (Nancy Moore and Ashley Huff). Looks like another great class for the UTC Lady Mocs!
-
Well, 8-AAA and 7-AA do have like all of the titles in the last couple of years.
-
She plays basketball all the time also! If she takes a little time off for it, this region better watch out! Holla!
-
Lipscomb and Hume Fogg will have to prove themselves first. District 7-AA will be determined by coaching, but I'd stay with JC and Livingston Academy due to the fact that they are proven! It will be fun to see how it plays out though!
-
The last time i checked Walker Valley had almost 1200 students attending this school so there is no wonder they should be good, its a AAA school playing in AA! thumb
Reclassification will have them AAA next year, but for now maybe they can advance to state because it's going to get alot harder going through 8-AAA!
-
Greeneville vs. Powell first round...then Wilson Central in the second round coming off a bye. hahahahahahahahahahahah!
-
Bradley Central's Aaron Baird ran a 3 miler in 14:54, he won two region championships and was all-state his junior and senior year. Signed with Louisville

Bradley has been outscored 218-8 in four games. I'm glad Bennie is in the stands cause he could put a aweful lot of points on the board like he did in 1991 (75-8). This season is going to be a long one for BCHS!
Cleveland rolls with quickness 42-6

I checked the Belmont site and she is not listed as a returner. Does anyone know where she is at and what she is up too?
