They better be improved because they are in one of the toughest districts in the state. Page and Giles Co. will continue to be good and Loretto is loaded for the next few years.

Lewis County is tough at home, but Fairview wins a close one in girls action. Loretto is playing the best they've played all year so I think they beat Marshall Co. Loretto is 7-3 in their last 10, with losses to Page, Lawrence Co., and Wayne Co. (all on the road) and avenged the loss to Wayne Co. last week at LHS. Was hoping to see Page win the toss in case Loretto wins in the first round because they would match up better with Giles Co. with all the injuries GC has. [Edited by 1MustangFan on 2-19-03 11:04P]

Loretto beat CHS 58-41 tonight. Balanced scoring and good defense keyed the win. Loretto improved to 7-3 since the New years break with losses on the road at Wayne Co., Lawrence Co., and Page. Playing good team basketball as this young team is coming around at the right time. Play at Summertown Friday and then off to face Marshall Co. in the district tourney next week. With the injuries Giles Co. has, if Loretto continues to play the way they are playing, they could make some noise in the tourney next week. If you haven't seen them play this year, Jana Cross and Leah Stone are two of the best FR around, so keep an eye on them.
