Just wondering who has the most picks in the region? I know that #1 Thaxton has at least 3 for us. I think he has another 1 but I can't remember.

If you had beaten us for our only loss and if you had have lost another game to someone else and I posted that then you would say "sour grapes". If the situation was switched like it would have been if Portland had beaten LA then we would not claim a Co-title. The 1st place team is the champs in my book. Anyways you have not beaten Portland yet. We have not won anything either. GO BLUE!!!!!

Since it's obvious that Mirrorman, muffin, and Bean004 think what I posted, I figured why not go ahead a say what they think. If Smith is So Good why did they lose to a team that stinks like we do. Here them talk about us your worst player is 10X better than our best player. Respect goes both way. We have not been shown much of it at all. Especially by muffin. He picked us to lose to Jackson and Cannon. As fas the best player in 4-3a Wilmore is the best all around player (that I have seen), but not every player on the SC Defense is the best. You guys don't have the best cheerleaders either!!! I have the utmost respect for your football team. Thank you very much. You certainly don't post like it!!! Everytime a Macon County fan posts something about them being as good as the Owls or a Tiger player being as good or better than an Owl player then all the SC fans jump on this rant about fluke and how lucky we are, and how much we stink. We aren't making excuses for the Portland loss or saying that it was a fluke or anything else. Let us voice our opinion instead of getting so upset. You have a very good team and should be proud instead of upset at one loss. Macon has a good team also and they outplayed the Owls with a bend but don't break D. They are as good as SC, Don't take it as a insult when we say that or that we are discrediting your team. If I said we were as good as you 5 or 10 years ago then you might be offended. It shows how much we have improved not how much you have went down. IT'S A COMPLIMENT

Fan(Michael Wilmore is the best in region 4-3A...not just for offense....hes a missle on defense) Who's to say you would have made the FG's or that Macon would not have scored again if you did. Macon has a good kicker also.

Trousdale beat Portland and Macon Co. didn't. So I wouldn't be so quick to say we don't have anything. Agreed, I understaand where he's coming from except the Hartsville having nothing comment. Ps before anyone claims he is bragging on MC (since we deserve no credit). Look he's a Westmoreland player. York also lost to Smith and Livingston which Macon also beat. Both teams lost to Portland. Macon wins this game mainly because of home feild.

The Whole SC team, the cheerleaders, and every member of the band is by far the best!!! They should be playing in the NFL. They are an unbeatable juggernaught.

I Missed the final score by 6 points. I had it 33 to 6. Tigers took it easy tonight it could have been worse. Kinda of a disappointing crowd, it was 70% Macon but with no seats it was hard to know how many people were there. Smith's 45 yard FG was a beautiful kick probably would have been good from 55 or 60.

Macon is 1st with a win vs York or a Smith loss vs Portland. Smith is 1st with a win and a York win. The other team is 2nd. Trousdale is probably 3rd. If Portland wins they are 4th if they lose and LA wins then LA is 4th (it won't take a miracle)

At Macon We used to play "Welcome to the Jungle"

Macon and Smith never were in the same Region or district for a long time. Macon was in 10AA and Smith was in 8AA. Macon played teams that were suburbs of Nashville and Smith played small town teams. I am Not saying they that Smith had it easy.

I never said our Jr. High could beat them or that other mess about us being in 3A. Where'd you get that? If it's on here under my name, I didn't write it. What I did say was something to the fact that I thought we would have a long rest of the season if we lost to them. I was wrong about that, so far. I have, since then, said how impressed I was with your team and coaching staff. Don't be confused with what I'm trying to say. You was plural in that post I didn't mean "you" in particilar. You (plural) have more good players than Wilmore. Matt Dyer, #4, the O-line.

Actually that's an old joke at Westside Elementry (that's what we called our gym). I wish they would change the name back to "Devils" instead of "Cubs".

You never played those teams for 20 years straight like we did either. We had to build our program vs some of the top teams in the state every year. It's tougher to build it than it is to maintain it. I just want you to get over you distain for us. I have a lot more respect for SC than you do for us.

I honestly think that Wilmore is the best player in the region that I have seen this year. But Hudson could be as good of a back as he is, but does not have The radio to promote him like Wilmore does. Just because we promote our guys does not mean we think everyone else stinks. James from Tc is good to. The QB at Livingston is awsome. As far a dealing with victory, if you had not been on here trashing the Tigers before you played them, and then making excuses for losing to them. Making statements like Macon could not beat Smith's JR High, or that Smith should play in 3A if they can't beat Macon. Then people would leave you alone.

You said that we are on here bragging about the best team we have had in thirty years that you would be ashamed if the best team Smith had didn't win the region title. I think you are also the guy who said "if Smith can't beat Macon they should not be playing in 3A". Just a reminder that Macon has played 3A for several years, against teams Better than Smith. You have not played Springfield, Greenbrier, and White House in the past either.

Didn't Matt take several game films and give them to the SC coaches? Why hasn't MC won with class? Just because a few inmature kids come on here and brag about it, doesn't mean all of us are like that, or that the team is like that. Get over you dislike for us because We won. You are giving your team a bad rep. Wilmore is more valualbe to SC than Hudson is to MC. We are a little more vocal on here than Smith is because we don't Have Murphy Fair to brag on us on all the radio stations. After SC beat TC he said the Smith probably clinched the Region title that night, and basically said that Smith's loss to Macon was a fluke. He and the other Carthage radio people run down MC a lot.

MC and SC have won the same amount of Regional Titles in 3A.

Hudson broke a few tackles in the backfield on that long run. Macon also got burned on 2 deep passes in that game also (1 resulted in your only score). It's called execution, not luck!!! The play was designed to create a one on one matchup. Macon does not have any great players just good ones, but together they are a great Team. Don't even bring up game film since Pat's son plays for ya'll. I don't understand why so many SC people hate the Tigers. Ya'll even had a few bad calls go your way and still lost.
