  1. Who's call was scheduling the state tournament Wed, Thur, Friday the last two years , rather than the historic Thur, Fri, Sat, ?

Who's call was taking away any area to warm up in ? We had some upper weight kids who warmed up with everyone else prior to the first match of the tournament then sat in the stands for the next 4 hours waiting for their first call to the mat. I doubt we were the only ones.

    Ask......... www.tssaa.org/IntForms/feedbackform.cfm

  2. im not insulting him. im just complimenting mackey

    > /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

    That's not an insult? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  3. I don't agree with rotating. It needs to be in a location that can consistantly put on a good tournament. That location previously was in Chatttown but they no longer are able to provide an adequate tournament.

Chattanooga can no longer provide an adequate tournament because the TSSAA decides no one can bring in outside food or drinks??? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  4. What were they bringing in? Duffel bags full of popcorn /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Ice cream, and hotdogs? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Between paying for hotel rooms, parking, hats, t-shirts and eating out /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> this is a slap in the face to the fans traveling form out of the Choo-Choo area. I think bringing in an apple or a bottle of water isn't hurting the TSSAA event.

Maybe we can pay for a out of town stamp /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

BTW- does anyone know if this rule helped the concession sales?

Subway, McDonalds, Wendy's and Krystals ............ just the one's I remember. I thought it was crazy too ...... then they let be see what was being picked up after the matches were over. Maybe if people had carried out their garbage this would never had happened. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

And ........ If I remember correctly, this was a TSSAA order.

To answer the question from the first post ................... I don't know.

  5. What time is the Purple vs the Green Friday?

I looked it up and see it's at 6. ND's other home matches were mostly at 6:30 ........ Why start this one early?

    I can't make it until about 6:15 ............. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  6. These are three very good matches for the week.

But I believe the one that takes the cake is The Purple Irish vs The Green Irish. (It's been too long.) To all those who will make that trip down I-24 be carefull. Someone is expecting you back at home Friday Night. Good Luck Irish.

  8. Some of my friends and I are wanting to go to the tournament this year. The only tickets we are finding are way up top. Do the individual schools have better tickets for sale? I checked UTC, OSU and several other web sites and do not see anything. Any of you guys know where we can get decent seats? Any advice would be appreciated.

Coach Bono has a block of tickets .........$120/PER TICKET - St. Louis - contact Chris Bono -- bono145@aol.com

  9. If all the toss-ups got to Cleveland .............. 30-27 Bradley

If all the toss-ups go to Bradley ...................45-12 Bradley

    My guess ......................... Somewhere in between .......... /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

    35-17 ..................... That's "somewhere in between" ............ isn't it?

  10. i heard a rumor that the state ind. finals changed for d1 and d2 is this true?

Not a rumor .............. has been on here several times .......... Weds. Feb. 18th thru Friday, Feb. 20th.

UTC has both Men's and Women's basketball games on Saturday, Feb.21.

  11. Congrats Tee.

Just curious...how many wins did Martin Francis have at ND?

Stolen from B.B. in another thread .............The ND career top four are Boone (171), Adamson (169), Ian Meredith (157-20) and Billy Hayduk (132-6).

They must not have wrestled near as many matches back then. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  12. This will be a great time to break him in. Its about time he got exposed to a little Culture. I did buy Vip seats, Hatcher reserved them for me and Alan financed them over 1 year so I could afford it. I have bet on the match with Texas 23 so if I win I can pay them off early. Can you believe he thinks Bradley is going to win.

If that's the case it may take you 2 years to pay off everybody. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  13. Hey Raider76 ......... Did you spring for the VIP seats?

Going to be a big day anyway ............ your barber is going to his first wrestling match.

    /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  14. >

Has something happened to Hames of Bradley Central?

Returning State Champ ........Had a close 7-6 Win over Browning.

I'm sure Ethan will be glad to hear most people (on here) don't think he can win.

    /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  15. some good wrestling but ten dollar admission fee outrageous

I'm paying $20 to make sure I have a seat at Cleveland vs Bradley Central Tuesday. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Of course, I get Drinks, Hot Dogs and POPCORN.
