  1. Sounds like people are just looking for a reason for AE being good. If you check back for years, they have always been a very good school in sports. Good luck AE. Bring the gold ball to East Tennessee. By the way, somebody give me a geography lesson. I know AE and OS are from East TN and Gleason is from WT, what is the break down of the 6 teams left? How may from East, Middle, and West?

Yea I guess you could say that. Both are doing great for their teams. Hopefully will play each other one more time in the tournament but both have tough games this Saturday. If they both win, WCU would get the number 1 seed in the tourney cause they beat UTC both times this season.

Web sites like Coach T will help in the future because so many people will be aware of the records. I think the Ferriss girl will probablt end up with 750 or more. 6'8" is a tough task at any level.

BTW JanaLee, how is Brooke doing? Those OS-Seymour battles were good.

She is doing great. Thanks for asking. She is at Western Carolina, playing for Kellie Jolly Harper. They are tied for first place in the SOCon with UTC. And yes those OS/Seymour battles were great ones. I kind of miss the HS games.

  4. Brooke Johnson that graduated from Seymour in 2004 also had over 600 blocks in her career, but unless the coaches or AD's turn these into TSSAA and submit a form for the records, they are not updated. A good example is that she also tied the state record for points in a state tournament game in 2004 with 42 and that is not on the TSSAA website.

  6. Yea, she recruited my daughter while at UTC also, if we hadn't already signed with CN when she moved to Western, we probably would have ended up at Western from day one. Nice to hear where these girls all end up, I have got to see some of them play this year, saw Laura Hall when UTC and Western went into overtime. That class of 2004 still has to be one of the best classes ever all across the state. You see so many of them playing on tv. Good luck to your sister at TTU. I almost went there myself but boy was that a long time ago. :thumb:

  7. Probably so. She went to Carson Newman her freshman year where she was SAC Freshman of the year and Co-Player of the year. She had a great year and the team had a great year but she was not happy. She has now transferred to Western Carolina to play for Kelly Jolly Harper. Loves it there and is very anxious to get back out on the floor. Where is your sister?
