with a previous violation ,, the comment from the principal that "suspension may not be enough" I would say Somebody is in very hot water .. I suspect a ban from post-season competition (Like Signal Mountain recieved last year) COULD be in the works... I guess we'll see when tssaa investigation is concluded ...... Since the alleged violation was self-reported post-season ban seems unlikely ...

I'm looking forward to the game Tuesday night in Lawrenceburg. I agree that Lawrence Co is a very well coached team and even though Tullahoma swept the regular season series, both games were close. Lawrence Co has the homecourt advantage, but Tullahoma could have a mental edge. It should be fun. The folks in Lawrenceburg are always great hosts.

I've seen neither team play this year. I know both teams have strong running games, stout defenses, and average kicking games. I am pulling for W'boro. Whoever wins will prolly have to make some plays in ways other than what they are accustomed to. Whoever wins, I hope for well played , tough, clean game ...

I didn't see Tullahoma vs. Centennial, and wouldn't criticize play selection if I had. However , I did post on Tullahoma v. Lawrence Co. topic, speaking well of Coach Olive. Then at Lawco game with 5 minutes left in game. Lawrence co. had acored a couple of times against Tullahoma subs. recovered an onside kick and Tullahoma sent the starters back in. I say this not to question Tullahoma's decision but only to point out that "what goes around usually comes around" Karma is amazing. Tullahoma beat Lawco 41-14 instead of 41-21 or 41-28 .. Congratulations Centeenial .

Yhey have to get in as at=large team in 2a because they aren't going to be in the top 2 of the region. Teams they beat (4) will only have 2-4 wins . not enuf to get them in

I heard of a situation where 1 child left a failing school to go to another school in that county, Oddly enough that child went from being a practice player at the failing school to a starter at the new school. So you would think that the parents would want the same for the siblings (at least I would), But not so fast ! Ayounger sibling of this player is enrolled and attends the failing school. Oh and the sibling happens to have a chance to play at the failing school. the 2 siblings now attend 2 different schools ( 1 boy, 1 girl) But only 1 remained at the failing school. NCLB is just another well intentioned idea that is used in a way it was never meant to be(athletic eligibility). Not familiar with S.M. case at all. But I do know NCLB is a farce that should be ditched immediately. It has opened can's of worms that few saw coming and no one knows what to do with...GoVols !

Farview has a great team,however, I don't know much about their personnel. Farview also dealt a quirk of the schedule facing top teams in the distict all in a row. Marshall Co. on the other hand has young talent similar to Marshall Co. teams of years past.Having Izzary move in gave them what they need to win this year.. I hate to tell all the District 12 AA teams ,but Marshall Co. is prolly a year away from being REALLY good. As for this one, I'll pick Farview due to their experience. But wouldn't be surprised by a Lewisburg win..

As an assistant on the Collinwood coaching staff I'd appreciate it if you would keep your trap shut about us and the team, unless you have something constructive to say or would like to join us at practice and lend a helping hand. Your words on here are read by many people, including the PLAYERS. At least change your user name. You're not much of a fan to say MP should bring their middle school to beat us. Giles lost 5 starters from last year due to various reasons. All seniors. Right now they have 4 in Mash. One more hung it up. But with all that the coaching staff has been in place for 5 years now. The system has allowed young players to step in. The pipeline is full so the future looks really good. Each game brings experience. The Giles coaches have done a excellent job with all this going on. The Cats will become a better team each week. Book it.

Have you seen Pulaski Frehmen play ? You may have a pipeline , but the source ain't in Pulaski

I heard that cleveland gave up 312 yards rushing to a rb from Soddy-Daisy Friday night.If that's your best rsh defense ,all the arguments about which one of you won the district is moot. Lawrence county has 2 outstanding running backs with Trent Garland being one of the best to have ever worn the purple and gold.I predict a blow out for Lawrence Co.

Im not sure if they are underrated or overrated at this point in the season. If they can win four of their last five, I would say they are underrated, but I could see them losing 3 and possibly 4 of those games. If that happens then I'd have to say at this point they would be overrated. Time will tell.
