  1. The - is the difference between length and weight of a bat. Such as 32/29 or -3 is a bat that is 32 inches long and weighs 29 ounces. Most middle school leagues play -3 which is required in high school and college. Some that are not TSSAA play bring it, swing it.

You probably need to look for the smallest -3 you can find if it is required. Unless they are a big player, it is hard to get a -3 around in middle school. I pushed mine to swing 29/26 and we got up on the plate.

Thanks! You've been a big help! :hungry:

  3. 3 shocks this week.1)Kiffin leaves UT-(ok not THAT big of a shock.)2)Snow inTampa(Global Warming i guess.) 3) The biggest shock of all;Lawrenceburg fans WILLINGLY wearing black to a ball-game.(Loretto is proud!)

After looking at Loretto's record this season, I'm sure they are proud. Looks like number 4 on your SHOCK LIST should be fans wearing black actually pulling for teams with winning records.

    OUCH! Somebody needs a kiss.

  4. joshlin from cookville has applied and he would be great.he has a great reputation and has built a great program at cookville/so far this is the best choice by far including the famous MAC MCCURRY

Either of those guys would be great selections.I'd love to see Mac come back.District 8 AAA would definitley become alot more interesting!

  5. You guys hold on. We've got at least one parent who has a child in each H.S. and I'm sure she'll be in to throw her opinion around. Her sister will probably join in also...... Well, she may not. One plays F.B and the other B.B. and since F.B. season is over, they may move on back to R.H.S.

    We'll wait and see.

This is like your childhood, once you leave you can't go back.

  6. I want to go on record that I do not support the allegations that Greeneville's players do not wear mouthpieces due to years of inbreeding that caused bad teeth to fall out.....nor do I support the allegations that all the Greeneville players wear a size 8 1/2 helmut to cover the high forehead that came from generations of mountain cousins marrying each other.....nor do I support the allegations that Bo has played seven years at GC (it just seems like it)....and lastly I do not support the allegations that OC from GC has accepted the Notre Dame job.

I will go on the record though that Giles will take over in the 4th quarter and win the gold ball and hopefully all that noise from the Chattanooga area will cease.

    Giles 28- Greeneville 13

There you have the "official" version of events from the Bulldog

I think your thinking of our cousins from the South Greene area. You do know that the east was settled first and people started moving out west. Hope none of your people started that tradititon of marrying their cousins bulldog. :bored:

Not me....I married a big woman in Samoa...who came from Nantucket....well..you know the rest.

I saw where a few Greeneville fans showed up at the Giles County practice field today and threw firecrackers at the GC players......that wasn't too bad though...the real trouble came when the GC players picked up and "lit" the firecrackers and threw them back at the Greeneville folks....BANG BANG what a mess!!!! That.... my friend is the truth as far as I can throw it.....Bulldog...circa 2009.

    I don't care who you are THAT'S funny! GCHS-35 Greeneville-13

  7. well all but that one, have turned out for me to be right :roflol: bet i have a better pickin percentage then you do, mr know it all! haha. you could thank me for actually giving giles county credit where it is due but instead you show the lack of class we are all expecting due to your cocky comments and poor social manners of accepting a compliment are obviously lacking.

This post proves they do have crack in Greeneville.

  8. Wonder why all the other #1 seeds are getting the pleasure of playing the 2 toughest teams in their quadrant in round 1 & 2 as LC has. Mitchell has a score ratio of 388-158. C'mont is a really good team as well. I noticed that a lot of first round games were blowouts simply because of the amount of far lesser teams involved. Not so here in this part of the bracket. LC will definitely have to do a better job of play calling in the last 4 mins of the game this Fri. nite. The C'mont game should've and could've ended 12-0. LC will also have to win the TO stat to win. We also have to have enough discipline to refrain from what ever the heck it was causing all the 15yd personal foul penalties. It will be a hard game to win, hope it rains like crazy b4 and during the game. Go (Mudcats) Wildcats.

This bracket is much better than the ones you've been in the last 23 years!
