Since you are mentioning the class of 2005, the best kept secret in Memphis might be sneaking out right under your noses. That's right, Jason 'JT' Toliver from Memphis Mitchell High school. Doesn't Play much AAU. Just works on his game during the summer by his self. Was a role player on a talented team @ MHS. Has secretly commited to Rice University. Played with JP Prince, Jordan Mincy, Collin Cunningham, Vashon Ingram, Michael Rice and others. Ironically enough, he isn't a secret to the players in Memphis. Everyone Knows JT!! Posterchild for believing in developing game rather thsn playing alot of AAU and Pickup. Go ask somebody.

Oh. Yeah! JT is the truth. People don't really understand how good he really is. 40 inch ups with a sweet jumper and nice handles. He is the real deal. Coach Johnson just didn't let him play as much as he could have because he didn't learn all of his system.(he transfered from Whitehaven after his 10th grade year 'cause his coach left) I told him everyday to play AAU during the Summer But he just wants to workout in the gym by his self. He still ended up gettin' recruited by 3 D1's. Mark it down. He is C-USA's Freshman of the year next year.

yes i did i play yboa with the hoopers and aau with the yomca team and we just got back from new orleans after winning the championship in my home town new orleans

From the YOMCA and BULLDOGS game. The Y won by three after coming back from being down by 12 points in the fourth quarter.

Oh yeah my average was 22.1 ppg 13.4 rpg and 4.1 apg i can get blocks and steals later from my coach.

He would have a hard time adjusting to the more physical and mental style of ball memphis guys play. I dont do anything to anyone. KAO im not hyping myself up. I just know if Brandon Wright comes to Memphis in play AA or AAA Basketball he wont do anything. He has been hyped up for too many years now. I dont need to be hyped up. I think its a bunch of bull anyway. I like Brandon. He a cool person. But look who hes playing. He can easily be held to single digit points. Just push him out the post. He not that physical at all. Everyone thinks he can't be stopped. Well the YOMCA team stopped him 3 times and every game we held him under 10 or maybe 12 points. The rest of his teammates just layed down. But to sum it all up. He can be stopped. Send him to Memphis.

Hey this is Thaddeus Young I read all the posts on here. I think this is just a bunch of crap. Every knows the Memphis Kids are the best. Besides my boy Willy Kemp and Wayne Chism from B-Town and the J-town. Yall put all these other hoopers in front of us trying to hype them up and stuff. Knowing that they aren't worth a dime. I am not trying to say that the Memphis kids all should be first on the rankings and stuff. But pub us up like yall do for the Knox and Nashville kids. We just have more heart and athleticism then most kids and other places. We also have better work ethnics then most. Well i know i do at least.

i dont think im tha best to come out of Mitchell. Not yet at least I think I still have a long way to go. I dont think I have reached the level that I want to be at right now. I think thats going to come later in life my career at Mitchell. But thanks for the comment. I know I can be best to come out of Mitchell if I keep my work ethic up. Oh yeah in Jumpshot I have been working on my shot in practice therefore since i am playing the 3 spot this season. I think I dont really need to put my game after anyone. I just need to work a little harder than what I have been doing. I have been working on my ball-handling skills to. So I will be ready for this season. I've been working out this off season on my skills. So I should have the outside and the inside game going this year. While on the off season I manage to pick up a couple of pounds. But I dont think its enough. But overall Mitchell will be ready to compete and win this year. I will talk to yall later.

i go to mitchell my name is thaddeus young #33 i play tiger basketball and i think mitchell is going blew everyone out in this region everyone thinks jus cuz we don't have markis covington our runningback we can't throw but mitchell has a good defense and a good offense they can throw and run so they better work hard cuz those tigers out to get them in region 8.

we won the state tourney and we beat brandon wright and the stars by twenty both games. Just stop brandon wright . the yomca 15's blow all the texas team out by 40 with a win over team texas by 2 . while me pierre willie brandon and andre was havin a bad game. the only real competition was the spiece gym rats such as the indy heat who won the championship in the 16's and the 15's. in the 17's yomca lost to the ny guachos in the championship. good job big y on both team makin it the championship in the 17and 15 under division.congrats goes out to to the bulldogs on makin it the semifinal games and losing to spiece gym rats 16's.
