thank you htv for clearing up the tssaa issue on the band.....im still amazed at all the crying over the band!...give powell a little credit from the opening hit on shavar(buy stephen kron) to the final horn powell played inspired hard nosed football i didnt see the band catch zach helton in the backfield even once! hats off to larry stephens,staff and kids for making believers out of even us naysayers.........go panthers!

this is too much medman........the very thought that central fans are crying because they didnt win by 2 or 3 touchdowns and are crying about the officiating is absolutely hillarious!!...... that was the worst officiating crew i have ever seen......ill give you that........ but how could you tell they were favoring one team?.....and for your remark about one of our coaches cussing an official......didnt know you were on our sideline! i doubt very seriously coach stephens cussed anyone! by the way are you saying our band lined up and almost beat you?

im glad everyones made up now!........and i think everyone knows who "big cat" is hes currently centrals recruiter......he knows all the powell guys cause he use to be our recruiter..........calm down yall...just havin some fun

well i expected that!...........ill make one more attempt at getting my point across but as htv states obviously im not thinking rationally no ones hiding htv....larry stephens is a fine man and a good coach. he perhaps could use some help with new line coaches.no one wants powell to win more than i do! my radio statement was not a personal attack and im glad you broadcast the games. it just seems that sometimes good ole powell politics and networking gets in the way of true reporting of a players abilities. i have followed the panthers from high school days ...mid 70s..they will always be my team! ps.....as for coach duncan....hes gone for whatever reason...lets not put him on a pedastal.....hes human.....wasnt the perfect coach.everyone wants to believe he was! pss...if ya want to discuss this further ill buy lunch at humps...lol

ok guys.....im not going to make friends with this post but here goes htv ,buddy....you cant make players players just because you say they are on the radio. this team has big problems not all are the coaches fault! clark knew when to leave...as for talking about it for years....you cant look at a certain class and tell when the talents run out? i bleed black and orange, i know the kids,love the community.but i know now what the phrase cant line up means! halls will beat us bad and enjoy every minute of it!.......i hate it ...but thats reality!

i wasnt talking about anyones coaching abilities......you guys missed my point......or didnt want to address it........the same thing people want to say central is doing now......was happening when the same coach was at powell.......there......clear enuff?.......and im wishing coach stephens and his staff the best of luck this season...coach stephens is a class act!..not a phony!
