  1. The keeper is never mentioned, thought I would add my little knowledge to that. Oneida will win this one. I won't be in attendance but I'm going 3-0 Oneida. Might be a stretch with that many goals but the shutout will happen.

  2. Figures that AC would make up excuses just like they do on their illegal recruiting up on I-75. Who are the latest signees for the 2004 football season?

Who has AC recruited? No one. You might be talking about Zach Lambert who attended Oneida through 8th grade but AC is where his dad coaches.

  3. I think they are alright, but some can be a nuisance and if you get younger ones the yjust want to jump around and throw the football instead of doing what they are supposed to.

  4. I think Helton deserves tops at QB, I would say Pennington but I have to say no because of a story I've heard my whole life. When he played against little Oneida back in '93 or '94, he went 2 for 18 or something liek that for negative yards. After the game he threw his helmet into the stands he was so enraged. He was interviewed either this year or last and said that hardest he had ever been hit was in that game.

  5. I would not attend Vanderbilt even if I wasn't offered a scholarship anywhere. If I did my dad would kill me haha. Vanderbilt won't beat UT in ten years but maybe in 15 or 20, a lot can happen for a program in that time. By the way that whole situation was hypothetical, I won't be attending any college for sports.

  6. Last year's game was one of the best I've ever seen. Kingston got two goals, if Im not mistaken, in the last five minutes of play. Both teams had impressive runs, with many unlucky shots on goal.

I think those two goals came in the last two minutes, in injury time. Both were well placed.

  7. Oneida-Starters, many line positions are up for grabs but Sam Cross, Bo Kidd, and J.C. Palfreman will definately be starting on offense as they did last year. The other psoitions are up to some seniors and juniors who have tons of potential and there may be many starters at the other two positions throughout the year but right now it looks to be Tyler Anderson and B.J Ivey, both seniors. Tight End will proabbly go to Cameron Spradlin, but he could also sepn time at fullback. At Quarterback it will most likely be Zach Smith with a good backup still learning the system in Cody Younce. Fullback is between three or four guys. Spradlin, Jonathon Lewallen, Bobby Simon, and Alex Brester. Tailback is Rhyne Douglas's, but he may be sharing time with Bobby and a sophomore Adam Jeffers. Also, Michael Hernickz, who dominated in middle school football for Oneida is coming out as a sophomore and should show some excitement if he gets the ball. Receivers are up for a lot of guys. Louis Armstrong hgas the flanker position, but the split end is up to three seniors and one junior. The seniors are Corey King, hard runner, Devon Crabtree, catches anything that hits his hands, and Mark Roark, taller than all receivers at 6'5. The junior is the strongest receiver in Michael Quakenbush. That's all I'll give right now because my fingers are tired from typing.

  8. Quarterback-Austin James, Zach Smith, Jude O'Toole(if he didnt graduate)

    Runningback-Rhyne Douglas, Greg Way, MPG

Receiver-Coalfield's receiver(name also escapes me), Louis Armstrong

O-Line-Bo Kidd, don't know any others from other teams

Place Kicker-CAK usually has a good one

D-Lineman-Bo Kidd, the Midway guy was good and Greenback's was as well

    Linebacker-Devoire, Cameron Spradlin, Jonathon Lewallen

D-Back-Rhyne Douglas, Louis Armstrong, Michael Quakenbush(you don't know of him yet though), don't know any others from other teams

    Punter-CAK again

    return man-Rhyne Douglas again

Athelete-Rhyne Douglas, MPG, or Greg Way

  9. I think the last time Oneida beat Kingston was when Matt Baker was playing for the Indians. They came close last year but I believe the tribe tied with them during the regular season then lost in their last game of the season at Oneida. Kingston and LC have always been the Big 2 in the District but this may be the year Oneida competes consistently and may even take over one of those spots. This game I'm going 2-1 Oneida.
