I am the 3rd runner for tullahoma cross country this year and the second runner (this year) who was also a soph like me ran a time of 16:16 and placed 29th in the class AAA state championships. Does anyone think he has a chance to run in college. What about a time of 17:14 as a soph?

I believe that Tullahoma will have a competing cross country team again this year if someone will step up to bring up the rear. I f we do this then with the Oakland-Siegle thing then we should easily win Region. Oh yea we only lose one senior to graduation.

I couldn't have said it better myself. The others I would like to add to this list is Mark Meuer (Freshman, Tullahoma) and Osbalbo Ivarra (Sophomore, Tullahoma). Look out for the Soph. Combination of Matt Davis and Osbaldo Ivarra next year. They are excellent up top together.

You people talking about the Tullahoma vs. Shelbyville do not know what you are talking about. That game was complete crap. Tullahoma outhustled and outplayed Shelbyville. Shelbyville was given their first goal by the stupid refs who gave a completly crap PK. The defender stopped the ball and Shelby's attacker dove and got the foul. The ref was the worst I have ever seen and needs to be fired for his lack of knowledge of the rules, or sent back to school. He called the game onesided and wasn't in good enough shape to run down the field so he made bad calls to slow the game down. The ref also would not pull a card for unsportsman-like. The Shelbyville goalie, if you can call him that, was tossing the ball around and falling down making the whole field shake at the end of the game so we couldn't have time to score. The way I and nearly all others see it is that Tullahoma should have won the tournament.

This should be a very good game tonight. Shelbyville and Columbia should both be very tired. I think it will end up being a very physical match. I do not have a prediction but more of a hope that Columbia wins.

One freshman that can play with all the seniors and juniors is Mark Meuer. He has more skill than i can describe. He has started on the Tullahoma Varsity nearly the entire year. Probably one of the best and most underrated sophmores in TN is Osbaldo Ivarra. The reason he is underrated is because he was forced to play JV ball because he transfered from CCHS. He had at least 20 goals in 6 to 7 games this season and 6 goals in one game against ST. Andrews.

This year in girls high school play Ann Shelton amazed everyone with her ability and this spring is no different with Joe Phelps. Being well over 6 foot and being on the basketball team shows his athletisism. He has great reflexes and owns the box. Anyone who saw him in the Tullahoma-Columbia match may 9 saw a taste of him. He had several great saves in regular as well as overtime play. He had 2 or 3 PK saves that were very hard stops. Not only is he a great player but he is a great influence to the team. He has my vote for best GK in the state.

By far the best soph. or fresh. in mid-tenn is Matt Davis on Tullahoma's Varsity team. He can take anyone to the goal. He is my hero!
