That's what I'm saying although WC is further west CA is still technically closer to all of the other schools in the quadrant.  Doesn't really matter in the end up thought it was interesting question.

i'm not a loretto faithful , but i have seen them play.. I have Not seen Wayne. Co. but I know they are very well coached and have some very Good young players.. Loretto is capable of beating anyone if they eliminate turnovers ... Should be a great game for the district championship. Good luck to both teams . Hope nobody gets hurt.. GoVols !

It's not about a practice Shadow. It's about the state of the current mindset. We are talking about 15 to 17 year old young men here. Handling success is the easy part. Dealing with adversity and distraction requires mature ideologies. That is where the staff is called to task.

 

When you drift from the targeted course you readdress your bearing. You make subtle changes as to preventing the tilting of the ship. You don't just head back to port. The Captain along with the officers have studied their miscalculations and redirected the ship with input from the crew. It was last seen sailing steady towards the preset itinerary. A few passengers jumped off at the sign of stormy waters and were left behind. The rest of us are enjoying the ride......

Last year's Trojans became what Coach Statom claimed to have inherited his first year as head coach. I wish Coach well at Deshler, Jake is an excellent coach and even better man.. Bart was the first in a line of great qb's Collinwood seemed to roll out year after year until the last few. He was also first QB at Collinwood to learn from Collinwood's greatest Coach Ever,,,, Bill Doty...Coach Littrell will be  fine... Best of luck to C'wood

Naaaa they don't recruit.  It is a completely fair playing field.  Why don't you go play with the other private schools

I am saddened to see any high school football player miss majority of his senior season..

Was he hurt playing offense or defense ?

I agree with the lack of leadership.I know in years past when the offense was in the field the defense was sitting on the bench together talking to the defensive coach and vice versa with the offense.Friday we didn't have that.I know we have more players playing both ways this year but after they come off the field they all went their seperate ways and every coach we had was on the sideline yelling and screaming.Im all for holding players accountable but chill out on the yelling and screaming a lot of players shut down to screaming and yelling instead of correcting there mistakes.

Walt will do a great job.. Giles Co. is lucky a man like him was interested in thejob... While O.C. won and won consistently, he left alot of hard feelings and carnage behind , not only locally, but at the governing level as welll (TSSAA) ... Sanctions should follow the coach who violated the rules , but unfortunately they do not... Best wishes to G.C.H.S. and especially to Coach Walt Smith and principal Mark Cardin... They are 2 of the best...

Guess we can wait for the new loretto telephone company phone book to come out ...lol

Lets just say all is well and good in Giles County.....

Not in stone yet but looks like 4- 5a clubs and 1- 6a club. Plus Page, CPA, Marshall, Cascade, and Spring Hill.....
