OnlineLC??? Wheres the school with the most pride and Tradition in Tennessee? DB is have to, when it comes to who is on the list on the top ten schools. Another thing that nobody has mentioned and i want to bring this up. When Db played Riverdale, They beat them in everyway except points. Even though thats all that counts. DB had the better team no doubt. A couple bad breaks with dustin gaines, and a bad punt, takes those away and it would have been a blowout, and DB would have taken state without a doubt.

I can think of one, and that is Jeff County. I think they are going to be a strong team this year.

Well, some athletes from Db. to keep in mind. I can name a few. Chase Flanary- hard core fullback. Matt Mcmillan, tail back also outside linebacker about 6'2 195, going to be a junior. Duran Ferguson, 6'1 or 2 QB going to be a junior, great arm its a canon. Joe Erwin, D-end probably 6'2 or 3, Powell, linemen from texas, probably one of the top linemen in the state-6'3 or 4-240 give or take. Tyler Nottingham-Junior Outside linebacker-wideout. Dustin Gaines-corner Jason Sensabaugh-corner, 2 very good corners and hard hitters. New Linebacker from Science Hill, he seems pretty tough. Lamon Williams-junior-great reciever good hands, Cedric Hodges- D-tackle-very strong hard hitter, also Jeremiah Loften-short but strong and stocky, not afraid to lay a lick, also Wilder Bullard, center, great at pass protection. there are some more tough ones from db, but those are the most that stick out.

Going to be a junior. What kind of injuries? Thansk for the luck, we might need it, but hopefully not. We aren't big but we all have heart and alot of pride. roll tribe roll

What do they feed the linemen at Sevier County? I need to know this because I play at Db and except for two really good linemen, we are struglling at the o-line. For as longf as i can remmeber Sevier County has had big linemen.

I doubt you do, and if you do then your only jelous that you have never beaten DB. So keep on saying what you want, but you'll be surprised i garuntee it.

No, I have not had that chance yet. sorry, but i have seen Lamon play many times, and I can only say that he is an unbelievable athlete.

I'm sorry about the mistake. I was just saying that i ran against him in track this season and i played against him in football. I also look forward to doing the same thing this year.

I stand corrected some what. Did you say that he is 1a? Not saying that he is any worse because of 1a, but I would also like to see them compete together 1-on-1. I'm sure though that when Lamon is in college he will get good competition. I think that it is just here in the east and somewhat of Tenn. that the cornerbacks aren't as up to par as some of the other high school corners in the surrounding states. Good Post.

I think that everyone knows this and theres no question about it. The best player in East Tennessee is the all-american sophomore Lamon Williams. There isn't a wide reciever or corner back that can compete with Lamon in the East, and i would like to see any from middle and west Tennessee also.

You Jeff County fans postings, just go to show that anybody can have an opinion on something, right or wrong.

Actually jaypat I ran against Scooter and i can personally tell you that he doesn't run a 4.4 4.5 even in spikes.

You are right about nobody really stepping up at the linebacker position yet. DB has just gotten a middle linebacker from Science Hill, who to me looks like a player. He transfered in the past couple weeks I believe. I'm not to worried about the D though, becuase as we all know, Coach Clark always finds a way to get around bad spots.

I personally think that is is to bad that DB does not play Greenville this year. This is because DB players have heart and know how good it feels to have revenge on a team who might have gotten lucky once, and I think DB wants to prove that it was just that, luck. As for DB and the running game, I know they have one of the best fullbacks in TN. Chase Flanary, who will be a senior. As of RB's Matt Mcmillan who got some pt as a sophomore will probably have that starting position. You can never forget about Walker Throp who's play will be limited becuase of a torn acl. Also a new back that will be a sophomore, Stephen Moton. He is quick and not afraid to take or give a hard hit. Thew offensive line is the only thing DB needs great help with. The Backs are some of the fastest and best in east Tn. And as for the defense, they are always mean at DB.

There is no question about it who the best athlete in the East is. We all know the answer, and it is lamon Williams from DB. Last year as a sophomore no cornerbacks could stop him. He might not be the fastest, but he has the best verticle and hands around. Put the ball anywhere close to him and he will have it know matter which cornerback in the state is guarding him. Thats my pick, and also some others from DB like: Joe Erwin, he should be an excellent player this year. Walker Throp-coming back from a terrible knee injury will be out to show off his amazing skills. Keep them in mind, and many more of them from DB.

You all can't leave out the rb from Dobyns-Bennett. Just to let you all keep that in mind. :justwrestle:
