they are having a good season but if hardin co. is the best west tn has to offer...then west tn is down this year....because ive read that a middle tn team has beat them 3 times this year and that team was not even ranked in the top 10...i think that team is lawrence co. but im not for sure.

Oppinions on this Rematch?

Of course everyone knows about the new "strict" rules in the Majors about Steroids and Supplements.....What are the rules in TSSAA about drugs of that such? or are there any at all?

Smyrna and Lewis co. are both better teams than they were last year, but my top 3 teams to look for in the finals are:

MP has alot of players coming back 5 of them and all of them batted over 400 last year. mp is going to surprise a lot of people

You should put an asterist by the number 400... In single A ball thats not too hard to get. MP will be good but not as good as last year they will miss the hitting and pitching of tuten and nalen. I think MP's ace throws mid 70's maybe upper 70's.

They still have the hitting that they had last year eventhough they lost Bratton. Im not quite sure about how good their pitching is.

These teams both had good games against Hillwood, but could not put them away in the end. Hillsboro (2-4) (2-1), Law co (4-3) (2-2), Hillsboro always has the speed,size and Law co. has been on a roll here lately....How do these teams look on paper? Offensively/Defensively?

I think it will come down to Defense and Turnovers.....Lawrence co. will be at home which is another big part of the game.

Who do you think will win?

The atmosphere was great, the game was great... and you could really see both teams fighting all the way to the end. Hillwoods got a great offense... but they just didnt get much started on Law co's defense until the 3rd quarter then things started clicking. If you didnt get to see this game i would go get a copy of the game, its too good to miss. Personally i thought the experts would be right by calling a major blowout but Law co. got my attention and they are in the hunt as much as anybody in this region. the coaching staff has did a great job of turning this team around. Good luck to both teams this season.

what about lawrence county's defense.... after Eli's 31 yard scamper he was held to 49 yards on 18 carries....just a little over 2 yds a carry.... ...... i think thats the best Defense yall have seen all year dont you think. Lawrence county's defense needs its most work on their defensive backs their all young back there considering all the starters from last year graduated. Yeah you might be right about the records Hawse 40 but yeah that would make since cuz you have to beat hmmmm..... Richland....and.... a very down lewis county team......should i go on..... try winning a region that puts out state championship contenders EVERY year who always have great athletes on their team Example:(Hillsboro,Hillwood,Overton,Columbia) Hillsboro has played in the last 4 championship games if im right and of course won last year. This game could have been worse for loretto... law. co's #2 had a one handed catch on a slant pattern but he fumbled just before crossing the goaline in which would have put the game away at 28-7. Lawrence co. showed loretto what the difference in 2a and 4a was in the 1st half but they werent running on all cylinders in the second half. This game is over VJ Cup stays in Lburg..... next up Spring Hill.
