  1. Great job and congrats, Tigers. I USE to have alot of respect for Cascade, after tonight, that has changed. HORRIBLE sportsmanship displayed by the Champs. I know its hard to lose but acting like thugs and taking cheap shots makes your entire program look bad /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

  2. Congrats To Marco Dailey! We are ALL so proud of you here in Mt. Pleasant! I know you, and you are a humble young man. You DESERVED this award :unsure:

    Also, remember, you helped take this TIGER team where it had never been before and I know your teammates and coaches are just thrilled to death for you!

    Can't wait to see you under the lights next year, you are gonna be fun to watch!!!

    To all the TIGERS, you had a fantastic year, and we are as equally as proud of all you have accomplished this year. Job well done, guy's!! :lol:

    ~~GO TIGERS~~

    P.S. Thanks, Reddevilmascot, we look forward to seeing you guy's again next year at your place!

  3. I can promise you one thing. Mt. Pleasant is not overlooking anyone. I am positive that they have all the respect in the world for JC. They know how hard it is to make it this far and any team that does, IS good, and can win on any given night. They will be fired up and ready for this game, just as they know JCS will. This is going to be a hard fought battle to the very end.

    Marco Dailey is certainly a great player, and he does alot to help his team win. He is our "play-maker". However, he is not the only one on the team that can score a touchdown or make a great play. Bubba Clifton (#15 ) is also a great player. I am not sure of his numbers, but he has alot of yards and several TDS . Jay Stoops ( #5 ) is a good player also. Then you have Beau Butler, Kyle Bays, Ryan English, Christian Gaines, and David Brown. ALL of which I have seen make great plays this year. The point is, yes, Marco is our "play-maker". But, there are others that can also be successful. I think that is the point most MP fans are trying to make whenever someone calls MP a one man show. We have seen all the games, not just 1 or 2. We know what some of these other guys can do and what they have done all year long. Marco IS as good as advertised and he makes plays that leave you shaking your head asking" How'd he do that?" heck, he is awesome! But, he does have a great supporting cast around him. It takes all 11 :thumb:

  4. Well, while you are praising them I will get on to them for printing some incorrect information.

    He has NOT rushed for over 100yds in 21 consecutive games! He didn't get over 100 in their 1st game this year vs. Giles County.

    I am sure this will come off as sour grapes, but if people are going to be saying he rushed for 100yds in 21 consecutive games that would include Giles County and that simply didn't happen.

    Also, for the sake of the guy who holds the record this should be corrected!

    That total only included REGION games I think. I don't think they said he actually broke the record for that, did they?

  5. if he doesnt get it there is alot of money involved somewhere, and in defence of CHRIS TUCK OF JO BYRNS it is totaly insane that he was not a canadate for the lineman award a total joke!!! MARCO take it to the house young man u deserve it!

    I agree 100%......Chris Tuck not being nominated for this as a lineman, well, thats just crazy! This kid should have easily been the 1st choice.

  6. Tell me, how much did ya'll pay the refs to throw that game? We would have had it if it wasn't for the refs not calling penalities on ya'll when you were holding and face masking. But whatever, at least Jo Byrns played a fair game. And we know who the real champs are.

    The calls went both ways , tonight. I saw several holding, block in the back and facemasks not called for the other team. We had 85 yards in penalties. They were calling em' left and right. You are right, JB played a fair game~ so did the Tigers. It was a great game for both teams and a shame that either had to lose. The way I see it we are both Champs.

    ~~~~ GO TIGERS ~~~~
    P.S. BigTuck~ you are a monster! 22 tackles is awesome!!! GREAT JOB!
  7. MTP...knockin off the #1 seed in the state, huge momentum
    we might even get a "go Tigers" outa wingman!
    I bet we don't get a "Go Tigers" outta wingman.... LOL ...... BUT, thats okay because he hasn't been for us all year, why should he start now?
    The TIGERS win another close one in this game and advance to " The Big One"!!
    And thanks a bunch, orange, we appreciate the support!
    ~~~~GO TIGERS ~~~~

  8. And then there were 4...........

    CONGRATS to the TIGERS, COACHES and FANS!!!

    It was obvious from the beginning that no matter what, win or lose, we were in this with you ( YOUR FANS ) till the last second. I can now say I have witnessed something even more amazing than the CPA game back in 2004!!! The crowd was even louder, and everyone was on their feet on EVERY defensive play! :thumb:

    To all the TIGERS, you guy's played your hearts out! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I want to say congrats to JBHS players , coaches, and fans for bringing it! You guy's played with so much intensity, and never let up. You fans were the loudest I have ever heard on the visitor's side! Everyone showed great sportsmanship.

    To the JBHS seniors, congrats on the great run you guy's have had during the last 2 years. Something that you will always remember and always be proud of! Your school and community will always remember the DEVILS of 05 and 06!

    Hope everyone from JB has a safe trip home. Good luck next year I will be rooting for the DEVILS every game ( except when we meet you this time next year ) :lol:

  9. I would like to wish both teams well Friday night. Being from Huntland and playing against both teams, I know that both teams are well coached and both teams are class operations. Good luck to both teams, I know that whoever wins will represent this area well.

    Thanks a bunch, orange! I think the TIGERS will win this game, and move on to the semi's :justwrestle:

    Huntland was always one of my favorite games to watch when my son played for the TIGERS. You guy's always played us clean and with alot of heart. Good luck to the HORNETS next year!!
