  1. Ok what about some of the other traditionally good schools: Huntingdon, Camden, Union City how are they going to look and who are going to be some of their playmakers for each team

UC could be anywhere from a little better this year to a lot better. I'm pretty sure the offense will be more efficient. It all depends on if the defense can man up. UC hasn't had that overall bruising defense that the school has been known for in years.

  2. QUOTE(tigerman @ Apr 25 2007 - 07:15 AM) 826444758[/snapback]None of you all have ever been to Lewisburg have you ?

    It's just the opposite.

Down the lines is reasonable, but this baseball/football field is

about 2 miles to deep center & 2&1/2 to 3 miles in the gaps.

I've seen a few actually go out in some of the deepest parts of the

park, but you'll see a lot more exciting triples if the ball makes the gap.

It's a long lonely run for an outfielder if he gets burnt !!!

I've seen a ball hit halfway up the bleechers.

Union City lost many starters..(7)...but they still have some key players from last years 24-3 team. Some new comers will have to step up to help them. I believe they will win 14A...but come time for state, it will be a tough couple of weeks. They have the talent and coaching to do so however. With Lowrance throwing good and Speed hitting, the rest of the team will fall in behind, and could be trouble for any team.

Sophmore Cameron Sherwood will be the best defensive short-stop to come out of Union City. He backhanded Marki Guy in the hole last year. Atleast UC will have the best field in the state.

  4. thats true, but here's how its going down for 2007

1st=humboldt-beat uc and lake county at dresden by at least 10

2nd=union city- too much confidence will cost the los tornados this year

3rd= trenton- after humboldt beats lake county on saturday, the tide sneak in a win on the cons. game against the demoralized falcons

4th= lake county- the falcons will lose some wings this weekend in dresden

district 13 is weak, so these 4 will meet in the regional semifinals, with humboldt defeating trenton, and union city defeating lake county. At the regional finals in atwood, humboldt defeats union city at the buzzer as hunt sends the ally-opp to epperson to end the game(see spurs/magic) At the state it will be humboldt and adamsville, union city will be put out by the cardinals, dont be mad just know that you heard hear first at coacht.com, humboldt wins the state championship for 2007, humboldt has yet to play their best ball, but now its showtime, so get ready!

Or chokes in the semi's at state. Everyone should be playing their best ball right now.

Antwan and Xavier play all the time at Miles gym,now called the Boyz and Girlz Club. You never see a day go by were these guys dont playball.Every day of the summer and when the season is over, they go and work on weaknesses of their game. That is even for the junior class or anybody else that come out of UC.Ball players are made in the summer, not during the season.I would give coach of the year to Sisco and MVP to MJ,but these guys put a lot of work in the gym during the offseason and when this season end,if you come to the gym in UC,you will see these same guys every day competing against each other along with some other guys who have graduated form UC,Martin,So Fulton.

While I am at it, I am going to vent. This thread illustrates what is wrong with COACHT forums. This started as a legitimate topic but then was diminished by someone who obviously is very biased toward Union City. I coach in Tennessee and would love to be able to discuss topics of this nature and others but it always seems that there are those who want to trun topics into something they are not. Eventually, trash talking occurs and things disintegrate into something that is very counter productive and unwise.

Okay, I feel better. I still vote for having no tournament and just giving UC the title. All in Favor say I!!

Hand the ball to UC? Thats a great attitude for a coach to have. And if you think UC might not make it out of the district then maybe you should have them down as a longshot.

  7. i personally think that chris donald is better with the ball in his hands than at linebacker.

Don't know about being a better runnung back. Runs straight up but still has the power to knock people over. I heard he hasn't been doing to well? I wouldnt know but is there any truth to this? If he picks to go there, Tennessee will make a fine lb out of him.

    Bracey and Yancey from 7-A

  8. LC shouldn't worry so much about being undersized. Last year UC won it all with the tallest player being 6'3. Small teams just have to be better at other functions of the game, especially running and the deep ball.

  9. Lake County as some better player than Mckenzie. However McKenzie is better, period. Better balanced run/pass, offense/defense/special teams. O and lets not forget conditioned. Mckenzie played a good four quarters against UC because they could. I do not at all hate either team. I hope someone out of 7-a reps. well in the playoffs. But the facts are that LC hasn't beat an above average team in a while. And i'm not saying it wont happen this weekend. I'm just saying that McKenzie IS the better team.

And i dont know why some, not all, LC fans wanna roast UC and talk junk on why LC is better. Yall have yet to beat us lately and have yet to stop jawin at us. If we beat LC again are yall still gonna talk smack? YES
