All right listen up and listen up good. there should be no disscusion on who's the best pitcher in the east cause we already know who that is. None other than Brandon Farrow. I mean come on name one other guy that throws any where as hard as him. That has a numerous amount of scouts that come out to watch him throw. Hands down to Brandon Farrow. i hope the pounders come back they hada great program and great fans . the school itself needs something positive to happen as most of their sports are going downhill. but i blieve the pounders will be back not just in baseball all sports and i blieve it starts with next football season.

I agree to a certain extent....... Yea having livley was a very plus for the pounder's but they don't have him any more and that's just the way things are. The pounder's are so young they have many many freshmen and sophmore players that have been put on the spot. In fact if I'm not mistaken they have more freshmen and sophmore starters than senior or junior starters. Their just a very young team that in my opinon will develope into a power house baseball team before to long. So for all those that think the pounder's will not rise up to their ability let me just say your in for one BIG suprise.
One more thing in the defense of all the other sports for Central high school. Don't ever make false statement's saying our other sports are down hill. I really hope your not just talking about basketball or football. Because that is not "all the other sports" Your leaving out Wrestling, Track, Soccer, X-Country, And soft ball. O yea since this just came to the top of my head didn't the pounder's have a lot of their wrestlers go very far in the state tournament. And didn't they have one of their wrestlers place in the state. Sounds to me as if those pounders are doing what needs to be done. No offense to you bradleybears2004. This is just a message to any other school that want's to doubt us, Mainly pointing toward Ooltewah.

I actually have no proof to say that Ooltewah is over rated. I'm just bored and wanted a reason to tell Ooltewah that they stink. All they are is a bunch of STD Bi***** that like to take 15 of there base ball players and go to little 10th grader's houses and try and start sh**. Then when it comes down to it there not ready to back up any thing they say. Just a little message to all you Ooltewah boys letting you know that I'm back.

How would a tradition get started if no one wanted to do it or keep it. It was a great ideal 2years ago and it's still a great ideal today. Rather you like it or not the barrel is gonna be staying for a very long time. It lives on 4-ever.

How do yall know that the baketball players aren't enjoyining the barrel and all the noises. What buisness do you have saying what should go off in a basket ball game. Like in wrestling matches, when all the C-men come to it. They always bring the barrel and their as twice as loud. So don't get mad at us just because we actually have creative ideas of noise making. Another thing how are you gonna sit here and say we have a weak student section. Sounds like someone's smoked a llittle to much Reefer before the game. Any way if you don't like the way we cheere at basketball games then don't even show up! Were not gonna catter to anyone that doesn't wanna here it. There ain't one Owl that will ever stop us from our cheering.

I can't believe yall. "Make the noise makers shut up" what is the point in even going to games if you can't make noises and cheer. It sounds like yall don't want any one cheering at all. Maybe it's because yall have no cheering section at all. Ooltewah just sits there the whole time. Ya every once in a while your students will yell something, but hardly ever. Ooltewah's student section stunk. Central's rocked. Just so yall would no the whole barrel thing has been around 4- a long time, so it's not nothing new.

Ooltewah 58-43. White had 20, Porter added 17, Foster scored 10, and Brown chipped in 9. Lorenzo Meadows was the only player for Central in double figures with 12. What was the deal with the Central students beating whatever it was they had? I was under the impression that artificial noise-makers were illegal by the NFHSA.

I agree about ooltewah winning the game but i dont agree with u as a person.... ive only been too 3 ooltewah games this year and one of them was the central game...... I live in Atlanta now so i dont get to come up much but i will be up there tomorrow night for the game so i guess ill cya there peace
Well since you got to come to the last b-ball game between the two school's why didn't I see any body there that was as big as you say you are. Well can't wait for the game. Just so you can't make any excuses the game is at 7:30 at the pounder's house.

What is it with these treads that keep getting deleted. Is the posts and comments by other people really that bad. Any way who is gonna win the game this friday. Will it be Chattanooga Central or will Ooltewah win the 2nd time. Last night Central pulled off a big win over Soddy. Can the pounders keep it going or will the Owls prevail. Hopefully CHS will come out on top.
