  1. Just to clarify it...There were 12 men on the field. The extra player blocked a blitzing Milan lineman. That blocker was the only thing between him and a Milan sack. NO, there is nothing to do about it. So we will move on.

Just how do you know which one was the extra player? If there's 12 men on the field maybe the one who wasn't supposed to be there wasn't even around the play. Kinda funny this hackinbad shows up after Milan's season is over. I kinda figured it might be you starting a thread so stupid you didn't want to put your name on it.

Huntingdon and Milan football is a great rivalry. I doubt there are many fans or players that hate the other. Most have a lot of respect for both programs and like good programs, both hate to lose.

  2. It is the state championship in my opinion. I think Tyner has the advantage since the Torndaoes have lost Lindsay. Both teams are glad they dont have to worry about the private schools Lipscumb and Good pastor in the brackets any more....They Rams are big and physical.....Alcoa has more speed and is better coached....should be a classic...

For a football expert you aren't keeping up very well. First there is another side of the bracket still playing so this ain't near the championship. Second, Goodpasture is still in this bracket and in the semis against Huntingdon Friday night. Third, Huntingdon still has a score to settle from last year.

  3. Overall great job by the Dawgs. Now that I sit back and take it all in..Its really hard to get over these things. Especially having the same thing happen again. Leading in the 4th and giving it away.Milan came in again as a rebuilding year. They didn't have any Mr Football finalist..no real Go-To guy...No leading rusher or anything. They were a very scrappy bunch that pretty much played going on Tradition and Pride. That, I am proud of.

All the Milan fans should be proud of the Dawgs. They played a good game and may be the stronger team. The Stangs just have too many weapons. I hope the Milan faithful will now rally behind Huntingdon while we try to bring another gold ball back to West TN.

  4. The most disappointing thing I saw at this game was the size of the visiting crowd. I guess I'm used to seeing Huntingdon fill up anybody's visitor stands (except maybe UTM when we play Westview) and lining the fence. It has to be discouraging for the boys to look in the stands and see almost fewer folks than are dressed out on the field. Good luck to USJ in the future, your boys never gave up.

  5. milan could've been there jsut as much as h-don...a lot of bad & missed calls in that game...u can say excuses all u want but let someone neutral watch the film & they'd say the same thing.

I was at the Milan/Huntingdon game and there were a few calls that I didn't agree with. I hardly ever go to a game where I agree with all the calls. The refs didn't win the Mustangs won. Milan couldn't have hung with Alcoa, why, because Milan had no passing game. Quit whining, the season is over. The '04 Alcoa team got a gold ball, the '04 Huntingdon team got a silver ball and the 'O4 Milan team got no ball. Deal with it.
