  1. I agree. Our field is considerably smaller than a regulation field, and the center is prob the worst part this year. The wings are pretty nice, but with football season the center was badly torn up. Having played at Mike Rose in Memphis this past weekend, it seems like our game, along with numerous other teams, are affected by the small size of football fields. I'm looking forward to playing all the teams this year and thanks to CCS for making the trip.

yeah, no one seems to realize that it is really hard for people who play on football fields to move to a normal field, just like it's hard for people with normal fields to play on football fields. It doesn't help that our practice field is probably smaller than half of their normal fields.

  2. To the football team, I'm sure they are great.

But to people not on the football team, at least in my school, they are really annoying. They get the impression that they are actually on the team and get bigger heads then anyone on the team. As long as you keep your cool you'll be a great person and no one will mind.

  3. There are only what, about 5 in the state? Are these really fair for schools to have? Playing on a football field is way different than playing on these wide fields and it shows that the players who play on the football field are usually confused on what to do, so are they fair?

  4. This "Bivens Kid" is the guy who scored four goals last night and had five tonight against Loudon.... So if I do my math correctly thats 9 goals in two games.

are you sure he scored all the 5 goals in loudon?

also, remember two were on PKs..and two of the others were on defense/keeper mishaps..no amazing goal scoring talent in that game.

  5. The preseason rankings haven't been relased. Expect them to be out in a week or two. My top 5 preseason picks:

    1. CAK

    2. CCS

    3. Lenoir City

    4. FRA

    5. Oneida & Kingston (even)

    Top 5 District Picks:

    1. Lenoir City

    2. Kingston & Oneida (tie)

    3. Anderson Co.

    4. Loudon

    5. Scott Co.

As we know, anything is possible, so at this point it is hard to say who really has the best team.

This is one of the greatest districts in the state. LC and Kingston are always ranked high. Oneida is great. And the lower ones always hustle and give it their all. It will be a great year.

    1. LC

    2. Kingston

    3. AC

    4. Oneida

    5. Loudon

There is NO WAY AC is over Loudon or Oneida.

Loudon beat AC last year 5-1 and Oneida beat them 3-0.

  6. never heard of him... howd loudon's season go last year?

they evened out, 4-4 i think on the district.

kris ford is definately one of the best keepers around, probably the best in the district. You don't hear much about him because well, goals get scored pretty easy on him, but that's not his fault. He plays amazingly and the best he can do with a lackluster defense. He has to work harder than most keepers because he doesn't have a good d backing him up.

  7. Loudon has a couple of sophomores who are probably some of the best players in the district named Justin Thompson and Justin Blevins. Thompson is probably the best point in the district if he got to have any playing time. He has played very little, but has been exceptiopnal when he played. He started early in the season and got benched for no good reason. Blevins can shoot the lights out. Blevins has tremendous post presence on both ends of the court. He also doesn't back down from any of the guys twice his size he has to go up against, but he doesn't get to play much.

I agree with Justin Thompson, very good player, one of the only kids that deserve to be on that team. Blevins fakes injuries every game he gets to play, and if he doesn't fake then he's just really weak.

  8. HEY KRF23 WHY DONT U TELL YOUR ALLS COACH 2 CALL LHS AND WE WILL SCHEDULE A GAME AND WELL JUST SEE HOW AWESOME THAT YOU SAY A 7A TEAM AND PLUS WE WON STATE LAST YEAR IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND WE PLAYED TEAMS FROM MEMPHIS. SO TELL WHO EVER WANTS TO PLAY JUST TO CALL LHS AND ASK TO COACH BROWN

I'm pretty sure you didn't win state last year..

You all are really making #### out of yourselves and you're making Loudon look bad with your horrible spelling and grammar. I suggest you stop while no one has really said anything.

  9. I am not sure of his name, but he is a sophomore from Anderson Co, I saw him make a player from Loudon last year fall down on a quick crossover, it was funny and amazing. THis kid has handles, but is short, so you never know what will happen.

dude, i'm sorry but that in loudon didn't count. If you knew who the player he did it to was, you'd agree with me too.

I say Yoni Espinoza's kicking wins it for Loudon like it did last week.
